Ten year old boy pilot called Gore Vidal. A young boy learns how to fly new kind of aeroplane with simple controls. M/S of boy, Gene, standing in front of aeroplane with man. They have a stilted conversation about how easy new aeroplane is to fly. They then climb into cockpit and man takes boy through joystick movements. Various shots of aeroplane taking off and landing on an airfield. C/U of Gene and man. When asked, Gene says controlling the plane was easier that learning how to ride a bike!
