Unanimously flunking his professional medical exam, Apolonio dabbles with more enthusiasm than idea in ballet, theater, painting and sculpture before establishing himself as the "doctor of the madwomen". Supported by his unconditional girlfriend Maruca, the young man prescribes music to the deranged ladies who visit him to be treated in his magical therapeutic chair.
