"The Game Makers" is a DVD spinoff project from GameCenter CX. In this series, the focus is primarily on game developers, with introductions to the developer's representative titles and behind-the-scenes stories of their development. Arino Shinya, the head of the GameCenter CX program, and the ADs (Assistant Directors) act as "investigators" to trace the history of the developers. Arino plays a few games casually with Hirai from the comedy duo America Zarigani, while the ADs thoroughly play one game title.
