Len rings for an ambulance when he and Lucille can't wake Annie. Tommy keeps Dick away from the Rovers while Minnie collects for the Dolores fund. The residents wonder if Annie was attempting suicide. Ena blames herself, as do a lot of the regulars. The ambulance men carry Annie through the bar. Lucille returns from the hospital and tells everyone Annie only took four tablets and has had her stomach pumped. The regulars find it hilarious. Ken helps Norma expand her vocabulary. Annie returns with Dr. Mitchell. Lucille expects to be told off but instead Annie thanks her for her concern and prompt action, as she feels years younger.
