Gail is annoyed that she has to stop the sandwich round. She feels frustrated working under Alma and tells her she wants to run the round down slowly to let the customers find someone else but Alma wants it stopped immediately. After selling Vera's microwave, Jack tries everything to get the money, even asking Derek for it at his wedding. Vera is furious that Jack hasn't got any money for the microwave and refuses to cook him any food until he sorts it out.
