When investigative journalist Imke Leopold asks Thorsten Falke for help in uncovering a supposedly illegal real estate deal on Norderney, he initially reacts with skepticism. Shortly afterward, when Imke becomes the victim of an attack she survives only by sheer luck, Falke regrets his hesitation and asks Julia Grosz to join him in investigating on the island.
