Kogoro, Conan and Ran visit Yakushima in Kagoshima Prefecture. To investigate the case of a body being abandoned on Jomon Cedar, they head to Jomon Cedar accompanied by guide Kitabeppu Ayaya, who was the first person to discover the body. During the long and difficult climb, they hear the legend of the "Yamahime", a terrifying monster that sucks human blood.
