Two weeks ago, a 7.0 earthquake devastated the country of Haiti. Early estimates suggest that the earthquake killed 200,000 people and left 1.5 million homeless. Victims are still in need of food, water, shelter, medical supplies and attention, clothing, shoes, sleeping bags and tents. Communications and power are down, there are unclaimed bodies being burned in the streets, there are many homeless orphans and the situation is growing more desperate. Relief is starting to come in, but the country is far from stable. The Doctors in Haiti Dr. Phil’s sons, Jay and Jordan, are part of a medical mission in Haiti, with the four physicians from Jay’s show, The Doctors. Jay and Jordan travel with Dr. Travis Stork, Dr. Drew Ordon, Dr. Jim Sears and Dr. Lisa Masterson, along with thousands of pounds of medical supplies, to help the victims of the earthquake.
