Sami and Brandon visit the diner, where Sami sees Hattie and Brandon sees Kate with Fay, leaving them both shocked. Nicole tells Lucas that Kate paid her $5 million to marry him. Lucas is furious. Nicole threatens to expose their murder of Franco if they don't meet her demands. As Nicole leaves, Kate tells Lucas they must flee, and Philip overhears Kate state that their only financial solution is Victor's death.
