Earth, 1964. Ian and Barbara are accidentally taken into Smithers' laboratory and, while the Doctor and Susan face a hazardous journey to reach them, they witness the deadly effects of DN6 first hand.

The TARDIS lands in a ruined and empty London in the 22nd Century. Robomen patrol the shattered streets. The Doctor is eager to discover the cause of the city's plight.

The Daleks have conquered Earth. Susan and Barbara have joined the human resistance who launch an attack on the Dalek flying saucer where the Doctor and Ian are prisoners.

The rebel attack on the Dalek flying saucer has been defeated. London is crawling with Daleks and Robomen, and the Doctor, Barbara and Susan must escape the city.

The Doctor, Barbara and Susan make their way out of London to the Daleks' mining operation in Bedfordshire whilst Ian faces the Black Dalek's pet Slyther.

Barbara is put to work in the Dalek mine where it is revealed that the Daleks intend to use a bomb to extract the Earth's magnetic core.

Ian plans to derail the Daleks' plan by sabotaging their bomb and the Doctor works to turn the Robomen against them. Afterwards, a tearful Susan remains on Earth with her new love.

Sometime in the 25th century, the Doctor and his friends land on the planet Dido and happen across a spaceship (from Earth) that has crash-landed. Its two occupants - a man named Bennett and a young girl called Vicki - are living in fear of a creature called Koquillion, a native of Dido possibly responsible for murdering other members from the spaceship. However, the Doctor realises after a while that Koquillion is in fact Bennett in disguise; it was Bennett who killed the others so as to conceal an earlier murder that he had performed on ship. In a confrontation with Dido humanoid inhabitants Bennett dies as he falls from a cliff. Not wishing the girl Vicki to be alone, the Doctor takes her with him in the TARDIS as a new companion.

Ian and Barbara discover that the paralysed Bennett has gone missing from his cabin. The Doctor discovers the truth about Koquillion, but endangers his own life in doing so.

After relaxing at a Roman villa the Doctor is mistaken for a murdered lyre player and targeted by an assassin. Meanwhile, Ian and Barbara are captured by slave traders.

Barbara is sold as a slave and Ian is to be trained as a gladiator. The Doctor and Vicki arrive at the Emperor's court with the Doctor still masquerading as Maximus Pettulian.

Poppaea plans to poison Barbara who has become the object of Nero's affections. The Doctor is to be thrown to the lions and Ian and Delos are set against each other in the arena.

Inspired by the Doctor, Nero sets Rome ablaze. Ian must fight his way out of the arena and rescue Barbara. The Doctor and Vicki hurry to flee the city and escape to the TARDIS.

The TARDIS is pulled down to the barren world of Vortis. The Doctor and Ian explore. Barbara falls under an hypnotic influence and is compelled to leave the safety of the TARDIS.

Rescued by the Menoptra, Barbara is then captured by the ant-like Zarbi. The Doctor and Ian trace the missing TARDIS to a giant web city and encounter a mysterious intelligence.

The alien intelligence, the Animus, coerces the Doctor into tracking down the Menoptra. Ian escapes the Carsinome and joins forces with Vrestin, but the Zarbi are in pursuit.

Ian and Vrestin fall into caverns beneath the surface of Vortis and encounter the Optera. The Doctor finds the landing site of the Menoptra, and the Zarbi prepare to ambush them.

Barbara and a few of the Menoptra hide in an ancient temple. The Doctor and Vicki escape the Carsinome and join forces with Barbara's group who are preparing to attack the Animus.

The Menoptra attack the Carsinome and the Doctor and his friends come face-to-face with the Animus. The Isop-Top device is their only hope of destroying the alien creature.

When the TARDIS lands in 12th Century Palestine, Barbara is captured by the Saracens. The Doctor, Ian and Vicki assist in saving King Richard. Ian is eager to go after Barbara. Vintage sci fi taking us on adventures in time and space, reflecting the broadcast standards and attitudes of its time.

Ian is knighted by King Richard and sent to rescue Barbara. The King's Chamberlain becomes suspicious of the Doctor and Vicki. Barbara makes a bid to escape from her kidnappers. This episode is missing from the archives.

The King's sister befriends the Doctor and Vicki and solicits the Doctor's help in discovering what plans her brother has. Barbara finds shelter, but El Akir's men are closing in. Barbara hides from El Akir in a harem. Ian has been captured by bandits who resort to torture to extract money from him. The Doctor and Vicki attempt to escape the palace. This episode is missing from the archives.

The TARDIS arrives on a planet that has been turned into a space museum but the Doctor and his friends are puzzled when they find themselves out of phase with their surroundings.

Now back on their proper time track, the Doctor and his friends must work to avoid the future they saw for themselves.

With the Doctor missing, Ian, Barbara and Vicki find themselves in danger from the Moroks while the Xerons also try to make contact with them.

While Ian tries to force Lobos to release the Doctor from the museum, Vicki joins the Xerons in trying to gain the weapons needed to start a revolution against the occupiers.

The Daleks pursue The Doctor through time and space, with the intentions of exterminating him. Places they land include the Mary Celeste, a haunted house and the empire state building.

While Ian and Vicki are threatened by a Mire Beast, the Doctor and Barbara meet up with the Aridians...who are then ordered to hand them over to the Daleks.

The TARDIS crew's attempts to escape from the Daleks take them to the top of the Empire State Building and a 19th century sailing ship.

The TARDIS lands in a haunted house where the Doctor and his friends are confronted by Dracula and Frankenstein's Monster...and then the Daleks appear.

With Vicki trapped on board the Dalek time machine, the Doctor, Ian and Barbara decide to make their stand on the planet Mechanus.

The Doctor and his friends are taken into the Mechanoid City but their troubles are far from over...especially when the Daleks launch an attack.

The Doctor, Vicki, and Steven Taylor, go to 1066 England, but something doesn't seem right including modern inventions like a Gramaphone and electricity. Could there be another Time Lord?

The Doctor is being held prisoner by the Monk and Steven and Vicki's search for him brings them to the Saxon village.But a greater danger threatens when a Viking raiding party arrives.

The Doctor manages to escape from his cell and get the upper hand on the Monk but his plans are derailed when Sven and Ulf arrive at the monastery.

The Doctor finally discovers what the Monk is up to and must move fast to prevent his opponent from altering the course of history.
