Comedian and radio announcer Adam Richard shares his view of the obligatory performance style for Australian Idol hopefuls. Gird your loins for an outstanding Know Your Product topic that has the panel in a dither, stay strong for Frank wanting everyone to call Paul Kelly "Leaky", and brace yourself for an intense rendition of Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" by the beautiful Adam Richard.

Our guests are oboe player Diana Doherty, Scared Weird Little Guy John Chaplin-Fleming, writer of the musical "Dusty" and showbiz connoisseur John-Michael Howson, and the slightly popular Hamish Blake. John Chaplin-Fleming tells us how he incited a riot at a Scared Weird Little Guys concert, Hamish is shocked to get one question correct, and just what the heck is John-Michael drawing in Cover Versions? And, succumbing to the antics of Hamish Blake, Diana Doherty giggles her way through a performance of the theme from the Star Wars Cantina scene.

Guests tonight are U.S. soul singer Sharon Jones, vicarious soul sister Meshel Laurie, soulful Mental As Anything frontman Martin Plaza, and the soul of wit, comedian Dave O'Neil. In the hirsute of happiness, we've unearthed some footage of an impressively follicled Andy singing with Running Jumping Standing Still, and Jesse fondly recalls his reggae phase featuring redhead dreads. Look What They've Done To My Song Ma proves a challenge for everyone except the audience, there are some truly weird album covers in Something's Missing, and Jesse leaves no philosophical stone unturned in his closing song.

Vying for victory are Canadian alternative country singer Martha Wainwright, Oz Idol contender Rob Mills, lovable lunatic Ross Noble, and just plain adorable Hamish Blake. In tonight's contest Martha and Ross lock horns and prove opposites don't necessarily attract, while Millsy dishes the dirt and comes clean about Paris Hilton. Akmal reveals why Richard Branson won't be calling any time soon, and Robin treats us to a show-and-tell from his days in David Bowie's band. Enjoy embarrassing anecdotes aplenty tonight with Grace, Fiona and Dan respectively wincing about a steamy video clip, a cross-dressing husband and a tangled guitar lead. Common People gets the better of Myf's team, Beatrix Potter gets a rock and roll overhaul in Substitute, and our video-clip closer demonstrates a novel way to get back in the good books with the missus.
