Summer is almost over and Spinner has just gotten a car from Joey's dealership. But when a cop informs Paige that that she has to appear in court for the rape charges that she pressed in 2002, their relationship seems to be on the rocks. To make matters worse, Dean, her attacker, is begging her to drop the charges. With the rape case and Spin, will Paige be able to confront Dean, the object of her nightmares, again? Or will Dean get the best of her and convince her not to go to court? Meanwhile Craig and Ashley seem to be drifting apart again but when Craig gets a gift from his late father can this bring them together more?

Marco is running for president but with his relationship with Dylan on the rocks and him wanting Marco to tell his parents he is gay and running against Alex in the race with her threatening to tell the whole school he's gay at the assembly, will Marco crack under the stress and actually come out to his parents? Meanwhile Liberty may be falling for Chris but Emma won't stand for it and will try to get him back.

When Rick returns to Degrassi everyone raises their concerns with the fact that he might do what he did to Terri to another girl so with the help of Emma, Paige, Hazel, Spinner and Jimmy decide to run Rick out of degrassi for good. Also JT and Manny seem to be going nowhere as they have barely kiseed in four months but when Manny sees his private part and JT sees Craig's in the locker room will he be forced to measure up to greater expectations?

Ellie and Sean are getting closer than ever, so close that he wants her to move in but she denies him but it might not be such a bad idea when her house catches on fire. Meanwhile at the spirit squad car wash, Paige is sick and Spinner has his eye on....Manny?

After being fired from the DOT it seems she'll never be able to pay Spin back for what she did to his car, but that's not all she may have to worry about as Hazel shows her some convincing photos of foul play. Meanwhile in Mr.Simpsons MI class Toby and Rick partner up but they start to compete for who can get more kisses.

Rick has made friends with both Emma and Toby and when he's forced to work with Jimmy he may make another new friend but when Spinner, Jay and Alex rain on his parade he takes extreme measures. Meanwhile Joey has to sell his home and gets help from an old flame.

After being humiliated Rick returns to Degrassi with a handgun in his backpack and prepares to do the unthinkable and get revenge upon the students of Degrassi for laughing and humiliating him in the TV game show. Also one person will not survive this school shooting.

In the aftermath of the school shooting everybody is talking as they need to get some closure over what happened, but Sean who thinks he has everything under control may not be as well adjusted as he though and may have to take a trip back home to confront his past. Meanwhile JT and Danny have shun Toby out for making friends with the school shooter plus Toby is planning on going to Rick's funeral.

Craig and Ash seem to be friends again after everything that has happened. But now they have to claim the prize they won last year at Battle of The Bands plus Craig wants Ash to join the band but the other band members oppose it. Could this be the end of the band or the beginning of a new relationship or both? Meanwhile Paige has had a lot of stress and Hazel tells her to join her after school for the after-school yoga sessions with the hot new teacher assistant Mr. O.

Craig and Ash are finally together again and everything seems perfect and no one will split them apart but when Degrassi talks about them, Craig gets a little to jumpy to conclusions and gets too carried away with Ash's dads wedding preparations. Meanwhile Liberty is struggling very hard to put together the perfect story, the story of Degrassi.

After Craig's rejection it seems as if Craig has lost his mind and it may be as Craig's funny behavior turns out to be much more than that and much more serious that could change Craig's live forever, will he be able to deal? Also Liberty and JT appear to be in the moment when something Liberty has wanted for four years to happen, happens.

With the abortion still haunting her, Manny tries to avoid being in another relationship by going after the new kid, Chester much to Spinner's dismay. Also Paige will not give up her quest for her newly found crush Mr.O and it may seem he is interested in her as well.

Ever since the school shooting Emma has been distancing herself from her friends and everyone else and finds herself in a dark place but then she makes a shocking discovery at what kids really do down at the ravine, but will she tell or participate? Craig becomes prejudice of the discovery of his illness and with the help of Ash tries to get helping a support group only to find that Ellie belongs to the same one.

Emma has been having a dreadful secret about what she does with Jay down in the van in the ravine, but will she tell someone or keep to herself? Also Jimmy has been in the hospital forever now and is tired of being treated with sympathy and just wants to continue his daily life and decides to do that by planning to get as far away as possible from the rehab center with the help of Craig and Marco to see his all-time favorite band.

Jimmy returns to school and the whole school is eager to see him back in action but Jimmy has something to reveal about what really happened the day of the shooting and how its gonna affect him long-term. And a guilt-ridden Spinner tries to redeem himself with Jimmy, but will he tell him how him and Jay told Rick that Jimmy set the whole thing up causing him to get shot? Also Danny doesn't exactly agree with the new relationship between JT and Liberty and even begins to feel jealous towards them and he thinks JT isn't good enough for his sister.

Ellie has begun playing cards at home with Alex, Dylan, Craig and others. But when Alex wants to keep playing and playing for money will Ellie give up her rent money or will this card shark lose it all? Meanwhile Paige who has a secret affair is wondering if there are more secrets than she knows already.

Paige and Matt are trying to keep their relationship a secret but it seems that is impossible with Simpson spotting them at a park and Manny telling Hazel, will this relationship last or will they be forced to move their separate ways? Meanwhile Emma has a girls night after getting over her ravine experience and while the other girls see that Chester is Emma's new neighbor and along with Chester his brothers mess with the girls, giving Emma the power of revenge.

Marco as school president is trying to clean up Degrassi's image and get rid of everything that happened this year, but everything goes wrong as he isn't able to donate because he's gay and he finds out what Dylan's been doing while he's at school. Will everything for Marco go down the tubes? Also Spinner and Jay decide to get revenge on Degrassi for what it has done to their school and their future but it seems as Spinner want more than just get revenge.

The cat fight between Manny and Paige continues as Manny is tired of Paige taking credit for everything and even makes her the mascot but Manny will stop an nothing to take away what rightfully hers as this fight escalates during the semi-formal. Meanwhile Caitlin is happy to introduce her new friend and be a tour guide for director extortioner Kevin Smith (aka Silent Bob), while he looks at Degrassi to shoot his brand new movie, Jay and Silent Bob Go Canadian, eh?

Craig wants so bad to be with Ashley during the summer he doesnt want her to go afraid she'll meet someone else and dump him and he gest an idea to go with her to London and surprise her, but what was a nice surprise turns horribly wrong. Also Jay and Silent Bob are shooting the movie and Caitlin seems to be fed up with her editor and she makes a mistake after going to a bar with Kevin Smith.

The strain of Ashley's rejection and subsequent departure to London proves too much to handle for the ever so fragile Craig, whose on again/off again mental instability leads him astray as he finds himself living in the Degrassi Community School boiler room.
