Space hero Duck Dodgers, along with Eager Young Space Cadet Porky, travel to Planet X in search of Illudium Phosdex, the shaving cream atom. Unfortunately, Commander X-2 arrives in his "Martian Maggot" spaceship with his own designs on the place.

While exploring a planet for a molecule needed for yo-yo polish, Duck Dodgers and his cadet Porky Pig encounter Marvin the Martian and his plan to blow up the Earth.

While scanning the universe for signs of hostility, Marvin hears something that sounds like a threat from Earth. Dodgers's preparation for his movie role as a dreaded Martian fighter causes the confusion, which results in intergalactic mayhem of comic proportions.

In order to stop an alien invasion, Duck Dodgers creates an army of drones, who are all exact robotic copies of himself. But once the clones go on a rampage, to outwit them he must outwit himself.
