They take on America's most notorious 4x4 route in a race against time to photo map the entire trail before they must present their images at Google headquarters.

The guys battle it out in cars from past and present manufactured in the countries of their ancestors: Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom; and go head to head against one of America's most badass, track prepped speed demons.

Motor racing is an expensive sport, but does it have to be? The guys set out to prove you can race on a budget by finding a car that costs less than $500. Once they choose the car they are then entered into a grueling ’24 Hours of Lemons’ race, but will it all go to plan?

The average American owns 8 cars in their lifetime, but what if you only had one? Tanner, Adam, and Rutledge each pick a vehicle from their birth year that they think excels in every stage of life and are given a series of challenges to determine the most suitable vehicle. The guys also have a predictably out of control mid-life crisis in which they trade up to the latest high-powered sedans.

Can a civilian vehicle stand up to the punishment of combat and serve in the U.S. military? To find out, the guys each pick a vehicle and meet at a U.S. Army training to be put through their paces. Their combat training includes racing a tank, evading gunfire, and undertaking a large scale rescue mission during a firefight with explosives.

Upgrading and modifying cars is a billion-dollar industry in America, where the love for speed means that the fastest cars aren’t fast enough out of the factory. Tanner, Adam, and Rutledge aren’t convinced that the performance offered by expensive upgrade packages is worth the price, so they get three iconic American muscle cars with the best aftermarket upgrades money can buy. The cars are then put through a series of adrenaline fueled tests to see which offers the best bang for your buck.

The guys go postal as they are tasked with finding a suitable new delivery vehicle to replace the classic U.S. Postal Service truck. The each must choose and modify the vehicle of their choice, before putting it through some tests to determine the ultimate postal delivery vehicle.

Tanner, Adam, and Rut head to the Rocky Mountains for some time in the snow. However, against common sense, they have chosen to bring all-wheel drive convertibles. On the snowy peaks they take part in some epic challenges and try not to freeze to death in the process.

American cities are growing at a rapid rate, with more people flocking to the big smoke than ever before. As a result some people think the American dream of four-wheeled freedom is dying, but the guys don’t agree. They set out to find the perfect city car to navigate the concrete jungle and all the dangers hidden within.

With US and Cuba relations at an all-time high Tanner, Adam, and Rut head to the tropical Caribbean island to check things out. Once there they test and modify three classic American cars and then stage a drag race, in the process becoming the first Americans to legally race in the country in 50 years.
