An ICE raid at South Crenshaw High leaves Amina, Preach and Khalil forever changed. KJ and his Beverly teammates activate to help their friends at South Crenshaw, but their actions have consequences. Meanwhile, a bomb drop during their press conference threatens to blow up Cassius and Jordan's relationship.

On the heels of the ICE raid at South Crenshaw High, Coop, Layla, KJ, Breonna and Khalil go on a tireless mission to save their loved ones. Meanwhile, Jordan and Cassius come together to help the South Crenshaw community, while facing the unexpected fallout from their failed showcase press conference with Cliff. And Khalil is surprised by Miranda.

A very pregnant Olivia surprises Layla with a visit just when Layla needs her the most. As Tori turns to Layla and Olivia for relationship help, they relive the best, the worst and the messiest of their friendship. Meanwhile, Cliff pulls KJ into his shady plans, and outside pressures become too much for Khalil as the showcase approaches.
