Abe finally calms down after discovering John plans on releasing Stefano but insists on accompanying him to find the cure. However, John convinces him to stay in Salem to protect their loved ones. While trying to get the dirt on Sami, Carrie, Eric, and Mike are stopped by a guard at the hospital. However, unbeknownst to the trio, Laura has purposely sent the guard to hold things up. Sami panics after learning Carrie is at the hospital trying to dig up dirt on her and is determined to get on with the proceedings as soon as possible.
