Kristen found out that John and Marlena still had deep feelings for each other. After she read his letter that he wrote before his "execution". She schemed to keep John and Marlena away from each other. But Marlena found out about everything and wanted to expose her. Eventually Kristen convinced Marlena to keep silent until the birth of her child. In Paris, Kristen lost her child in an explosion, in which her mother and Stefano were killed. Stefano turned out to be alive and helped Kristen who didn't want that John and Marlena found out that she lost the child. She wore a pillow under her clothes. Then they would end up together again. Stefano still in love with Marlena provided Kristen a pregnant look-a-like called Susan. She would take her place at doctor's appointments, etc… This plan worked very well, until Laura saw her pillow slip away…

Bo and Hope finally made their way back to each other and were about to get married. A few weeks before the wedding Billie Reed returned. She started date Franco Kelly, but still was deeply in love with Bo. Bo was very suspicious about Franco and he believed that Franco was responsible for attacking a girl named Jill Stevens. Hope and Billie didn't actually believe that Franco was capable of doing something like that. But in fact, Franco made some very suspicious phone calls to his employer, a person that wants to break up Bo and Hope. Eventually the night before the wedding Billie was at the Horton Cabin. Bo just heard from Jill that her attacker was after someone else, so Bo believed that he would attack Billie. He went to the Horton Cabin and found Franco and a fight broke out. Franco did leave the island, but untied Bo's both. Bo couldn't get back to the church in time. His last attempt was trying to swim, but because it was so cold outside he didn't succeed and was frozen. Billie

On Monday, Jennifer, John, and Marlena are about to leave the Blake house when Jenn sees a light on the second floor. They race upstairs, but don't discover Laura.
[Jennifer is certain she saw a light, and John feels someone was there too, so they decide to search the second floor again.] Instead of splitting up and verifying that every room is empty, they all go off together. Then they hear a noise coming from the first room, and rush back in. It's Celeste (who says she came in the back way), telling everyone that she had a psychic dream in which she saw Stefano and Peter with Laura. Jennifer fears the worst. It's a new day, and Salem is fully decorated for Christmas. Hope wakes up and greets gran. Bo stayed with Jill last night. Bo enters and tells that Jill hasn't awakened. Bo wants to move his thoughts and asks Hope to help him and his parents decorate St. Luke's. Because of Hopes bad memories there, she declines. At St. Luke's, Shawn D, Shawn, Caroline and Bo are helping Father Janssen to decorate the church. Hope also enters. Father Janssen thanks all of them for their help. Sami wakes up at home and finds Santa there. He tells her she's been very naughty, but she immediately tells him that Carrie is the naughty one. On the other side of the hall Austin wakes Carrie up with a present. Austin tells her that the annulment is moved up and they will marry very soon. Bo and Hope are getting the lineup ready for Jill, but Hope has her doubts. Billie shows up with Jill and Bo has the men brought in for Jill to look at. After all the men have lined up, including Franco, Bo asks Jill if she sees the man. Before she can answers Hope wakes up to find it was all a dream, but that it's going to become real today. Hope goes to the pub where Shawn D has prepared a special breakfast for Hope and his father in anticipation for the day. Sami is at home wallowing in her grief still thinking Austin could love her if given time. Austin shows up and serves her with the annulment papers and to tell her that he and Carrie will be married as soon as possible. After they have left Sami vows not to let the annulment go through. Marlena becomes angry with Kristen because she is so hesitant, but Kristen eventually agrees to go up to see her. They all enter the room where Laura is resting and Mike is sitting next to her. John notices the read mark on Laura's head and Mike says it seems to be a burn of some kind. Marlena wakes Laura up and tells her Kristen is here and asks why she wanted to see Kristen so badly. At the pub Sami warns Austin that his car is too dangerous to drive but Austin doesn't believe her. Sami tries to tell Austin he needs to have it checked but neither one believes her because last time she tried this the car was fine. Austin leaves to bring the car back to the pub and nobody believes poor Sami, not even her grandparents.
Later the Brady's all toast their various family members as Sami worries about Austin's safety. Determined to do something to stop him Sami puts on her jacket and leaves for the impound. Kristen demands to know from Stefano if there really is a cure for Roman’s disease. Stefano refuses to tell her, promising if she holds her horses, she just may be able to reunite with John. Mike manages to pull an unconscious Carrie from the car and carry her to a nearby hut. Later, Carrie begins to shiver uncontrollably and Mike knows he must warm her with his body heat.

After running into Susan and Kristen at the mall, Vivian is humiliated after Susan blabs to a clerk that Vivian is broke forcing the clerk to revoke her purchases and close her charge account. In the midst of Sami and Austin’s wedding plans, Kate finds herself desperately wanting to stop the event but knows Sami will make known her call girl days to all of Salem. Lucas thumbs through Will’s baby book and is taken aback when he sees a shocking piece of information. Immediately after pouring his heart out to Carrie, Mike realizes she has slept through the whole thing. Later, while out flagging down help, Mike and Carrie are unaware a rattlesnake has slithered its way into their cabin. John tells a terrified Marlena of Stefano’s proposition and informs her the only way they can be sure if he’s telling the truth is for him to accompany Stefano on the journey to get the cure.

Depsite Jack’s reservations, Jennifer insists on going to the prison to visit him. Later, Jack cautions her if Peter is still alive, he will most likely come for her. While trying to get the dirt on Sami, Carrie, Eric, and Mike are stopped by a guard at the hospital. However, unbeknownst to the trio, Laura has purposely sent the guard to hold things up. Sami panics after learning Carrie is at the hospital trying to dig up dirt on her and is determined to get on with the proceedings as soon as possible.

Marlena is surprisingly somewhat comforted by Susan who tells her it’s okay to be in love with two men at once. Meanwhile, Roman asks Eric to keep his dying wish confidential. John makes it back to the compound but has been hit by a poisonous dart. Later, as they await the cure, Hope and Kristen remain at his bedside as he becomes increasingly delirious.

Hearing of Roman’s declining health, Sami rushes to board the first plane out of Rome. However, she discovers Carrie and Austin are on the same flight and knows she can’t have them see her.

Not realizing he’s really Travis, Jennifer mistakenly tells Trent she and Jack are close to finding the proof they need to get Jack out of prison. Convinced Jonsey’s townhouse is somehow connected to baby Elvis’ biological father, Celeste and Susan dress in Halloween costumes and attempt to sneak in the place. On the day of the wedding, Roman, at the last minute, doesn’t feel well enough to go to St. Luke’s and it’s decided the wedding will take place at the hospital chapel. John and the gang are rescued by a passing ship and are taken safely, with the cure, back to Salem. Later, after being told Roman is at St. Luke’s, John rushes there with the cure only to find the church empty.

Celeste shares her psychic vision with Ivan and Vivian, saying she knows that somehow, Jonsey’s house is connected to little Elvis’ father.

Hope tells Jennifer she’s sure Bo has moved on with his life because he hasn’t bothered to call and check up on her, especially when she was in the jungle. Meanwhile, back in Rome, Bo can’t shake the feeling that someone he loves is in danger. Jack faces the potential threat of losing his life while Jennifer goes to Stefano and pleads with him to make sure nothing happens to Jack. Stefano informs everyone his blood contains the necessary antibodies for Roman’s cure and the only way he’ll donate, is if Marlena agrees to be his friend. Sami manages to convince everyone she’s been held up in the mountains but Eric doesn’t buy her story. Later, Sami witnesses a moment between Mike and Carrie and is convinced her trip to Rome will eventually pay off. Kristen tries to plant seeds of doubt in John’s mind about Marlena’s love for him.

Abe and Celeste are quick to caution Lexie, saying she’s putting to much faith in Stefano. Meanwhile, Stefano plans to continue his evil ways and is clearly not the changed man he pretends to be. Just as Vivian and Ivan plan to leave Jonsey’s house, they stumbled across a secret room containing a ton of jewels and cash.
