Just as John, Hope, Stefano and Kristen are about to depart the jungle and head back to Salem, the vial containing Roman’s cure is broken. While spending the day with Roman, Marlena toys with the notion of what will happen if John does return with a cure for her former husband. Knowing Austin is concerned about Billie, Bo tries to explain her condition by saying she is suffering from food poisoning. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Austin and Carrie, Mike arrives in Rome.
