The Running Man team traveled to Shaanxi, located in the middle reaches of the Yellow River. While experiencing the rustic local customs and culture of the Loess Plateau, they paired up in pairs to take on the challenge of recommending local specialties. The men first arrived in the historic city of Hancheng, where Zheng Kai and Guo Qilin returned for a unique challenge in the male-female divisions. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, the four men began their team-building journey in the quaint Zhuangyuan Mansion. The male contestants first had to claim their own portraits, then use their scent to identify the female contestants. After the four pairs were divided into groups, their first stop was a flower bun restaurant, where they experienced the fascinating process of flower bun making with skilled craftsmen. Wang Feifei's hilarious runway show, complete with a flower bun watch, and Sha Yi's fox creation was a truly hilarious sight

After a three-year hiatus, the Running Man team reunites on the banks of the Yellow River. This time, they will employ a novel rap format to sing a new chapter of the Yellow River, presenting a unique concert for a crowd of 1,000. The Running Man team retains the original cast and three female guests from the previous episode, and will also welcome four popular new-generation rappers: Ai Fejieni, Ma Boqian, Naiwan, and Wang Yitai. Beside the magnificent Hukou Waterfall, the Running Man team took photos of tourists with the old 50-yuan RMB background. "Running Man: Yellow River" will broadcast a special on the Yellow River water. The Running Man brothers went to Min Ning Town, Yongning County, Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and reviewed the poverty alleviation immigrants from the Xihaigu Mountain area to Min Ning Town.
