Aida (2005)
Aída is a Spanish comedy sitcom set in Madrid, that spin off from another sitcom called 7 Vidas. The show first aired on January 16, 2005 and is produced by Globomedia for the Spanish network Telecinco. It currently started its ninth season.
The show stars Carmen Machi as the title character, Aída García, a working, single mother with two teenage children, forced to move in with her mother and brother to make ends meet.
The show has received favorable criticism from the audience and has been the most viewed show in Spain since 2007. It has also received several awards like the Ondas Award for Best Spanish Sitcom.
The Polish re-make of the series began airing in March 2012 on TVP2 channel.

Aída and her family move to the new house and the neighborhood where she lived her childhood. There she meets many well-known people and especially her friend Paz. The two are neighbors and in their reunion they tell each other what life has brought them during the time they have not seen each other. Paz, who practices prostitution, is dressed as a nurse and Aida thinks that she works in a hospital. Aida is proud that Paz has come so far and her friend, out of fear of disappointing her or losing her friendship, tries to hide her current occupation.

Luisma believes that her sister Aída is right when she encourages him to work and contribute with money at home. When Mauricio puts up a sign at the bar looking for a waitress, Luisma takes the opportunity to offer himself. Mauricio humiliates him by informing him that he will only hire a woman, so the desperate young man dresses as a woman and returns to the premises to ask for a job.

Eugenia is going through a period in which her bad mood is unbearable for the other members of the family. When Luisma and Aída are still wondering how to resolve the situation, the solution presents itself: Eugenia meets Oswaldo, a Cuban who seems interested in her at the bar. Eugenia's mood changes radically, but Aida discovers that Oswaldo is courting his mother because he thinks she is rich.

Paz is being harassed by a client who thinks he is her boyfriend and sets her up jealous antics when she sees other clients. The situation is becoming untenable and she decides to tell Chema and Luisma, who are very concerned about the safety of her friend, so when they see her overwhelmed talking to a stranger they think their duty is to take action.

Aida's mother comes home and surprises her daughter with the postman in a very difficult situation. After the initial hubbub, the Postman manages to "escape" without Eugenia being able to recognize him, and mother and daughter engage in an argument in which Eugenia tries to find out the identity of the mysterious companion. Aida understands that she needs to find a new “love nest”, she asks her friend Paz for advice and she offers her home for later encounters.

Lorena combines her studies with several jobs, but so far she has not passed any subject so Aida forbids her to continue working so that she can focus on classes. The problem is that her friend Noe has got her a job in a fashion store and Lorena is not going to give it up.

Aida makes an eventual substitution at Bar Reinols as a waitress. She is overwhelmed by the volume of work and Mauricio decides to hire another person to share the tasks. The employee is a son of a friend of him, short in stature, who decides to take advantage of his size to work as little as possible and gets most of the work to fall on Aída.

Mauricio has a South American girlfriend in a chat, for this he has told her some little lies, such as that he is handsome, young and has a degree in philology that, although he does not know what it is, it sounds scary. The problem is that his girlfriend, who is a teacher, has decided to come see him, so he asks Chema to become his Pygmalion and give him a crash course in general culture.

Mauricio organizes a mus championship at the bar. The owner of the 'Reinols' has always managed to win all the editions he has held previously. However, this time the person who always played with him will not be able to do so, and this forces Mauricio to have Luisma as a couple. In the final, the two face Chema, and before Luisma's incompetence, Mauricio resorts to cheating to win the winner's cup again.

Paz's friends and neighbors actively collaborate with her to hide her daughter's true profession from Consuelo. However, a lot of confusion is created about it and the mother ends up believing that Aida is a prostitute.

Aída realizes that she is losing complicity with her daughter Lorena and that she prefers to do anything rather than be with her. She is convinced that the problem is that Lorena believes that she is a "carca".

Mauricio and Cristal have decided to get married and are starting to prepare their wedding. The celebration begins with Cristal's bachelorette party. She has a little slip with Luisma which makes her doubt about her feelings for Mauricio and she questions whether to go ahead with the wedding.
