Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie is a theatrical adaptation of the cult television hit Mystery Science Theater 3000. Set between seasons 6 and 7 of the show The evil scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester locks Mike Nelson and two robots in a spacecraft to watch terrible low-budget movies as part of his scheme to conquer the world. He projects "This Island Earth" with the intention of driving them crazy. However, the trio laughs and makes funny comments in every scene and dialogs, having good-time instead, and Dr. Forrester's ambitious plan does not work. Original movie was made in 1955.

Pilot produced for KTMA TV23 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This half-hour dry-run pilot featured riffing on only a portion of the movie and some rudimentary host segments. It was never shown on television and no fan copy is known to exist. However, the primitive "door sequence" and what appears to be the opening host segment, is featured in the MST3K Scrapbook tape, once sold by Best Brains, and it the pilot in its entirety was shown by Joel Hodgson at a convention appearance by Cinematic Titanic. Never aired, production still for TV23 places production date as 10/3/88 Original film made in 1969.

An astronaut returns from space, dead. The base that recovered him (staffed by three men called Steve, one called Dave, and a a lady Doctor) is then cut off from the outside world by an alien. The revival of the dead astronaut, the death of a scientist, and the discovery of alien embryos inside the resurrected astronaut's body bodes ill for the survival of those trapped at the base and for the rest of humanity. The movie riffed was "Night of the Blood Beast", the same film as episode 7-1. The difference between this episode and that one is that this version aired only once and the live action comedy bits were all related to thanksgiving. It was the non-thanksgiving version that was used in reruns, this thanksgiving version was aired only once. Reefer Madness (originally made as Tell Your Children and sometimes titled The Burning Question, Dope Addict, Doped Youth, and Love Madness) is a 1936 American propaganda film about drugs, revolving around the melodramatic events that ensue when high school students are lured by pushers to try marijuana – upon trying it, they become addicted, eventually leading them to become involved in various crimes such as a hit and run accident, manslaughter, murder, conspiracy to murder and attempted rape. While this is all happening they suffer hallucinations, descend into insanity, associate with organized crime and (in one character's case) commit suicide. The film was directed by Louis J. Gasnier and featured a cast of mainly little-known actors.

Assignment: Venezuela is a 1956 short film produced by the Creole Petroleum Corporation, created to encourage American employees to work at their location(s) in Venezuela. Creole was the Venezuelan subsidiary of Standard Oil of New Jersey, later renamed Exxon. The short shows an American employee of the company arriving at Venezuela to work at the Lake Maracaibo oil fields. His narration serves as the letters he writes to his family. He learns about the country's historic background and sees the country's sights and its cities, which impress him with their modernity. He looks into a temporary housing complex while waiting for a house and learns Spanish while preparing for his family's eventual arrival.
