Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie is a theatrical adaptation of the cult television hit Mystery Science Theater 3000. Set between seasons 6 and 7 of the show The evil scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester locks Mike Nelson and two robots in a spacecraft to watch terrible low-budget movies as part of his scheme to conquer the world. He projects "This Island Earth" with the intention of driving them crazy. However, the trio laughs and makes funny comments in every scene and dialogs, having good-time instead, and Dr. Forrester's ambitious plan does not work. Original movie was made in 1955.

Pilot produced for KTMA TV23 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This half-hour dry-run pilot featured riffing on only a portion of the movie and some rudimentary host segments. It was never shown on television and no fan copy is known to exist. However, the primitive "door sequence" and what appears to be the opening host segment, is featured in the MST3K Scrapbook tape, once sold by Best Brains, and it the pilot in its entirety was shown by Joel Hodgson at a convention appearance by Cinematic Titanic. The MST Scrapbook is a video diary of Mystery Science Theater 3000 that starts from the original pilot episode and goes through the sixth season of the show. Included are many rare pieces of footage, including the pilot and several KTMA-era bits, as well as the promotional tape sent to the, The Comedy Channel that sold the show.

An astronaut returns from space, dead. The base that recovered him (staffed by three men called Steve, one called Dave, and a a lady Doctor) is then cut off from the outside world by an alien. The revival of the dead astronaut, the death of a scientist, and the discovery of alien embryos inside the resurrected astronaut's body bodes ill for the survival of those trapped at the base and for the rest of humanity. The movie riffed was "Night of the Blood Beast", the same film as episode 7-1. The difference between this episode and that one is that this version aired only once and the live action comedy bits were all related to thanksgiving. It was the non-thanksgiving version that was used in reruns, this thanksgiving version was aired only once. Best Brains presented "MST Alive" at the Uptown Theater on July 10, 1992. They lampooned the movie World Without End. It was something of an experiment to see how the premise would work in front of a large audience. Also, ideas for a live tour were being thrown around.

The MST3K crew has a new title to watch: Stranger Things. Jonah and the bots riff on one of their sister shows on Netflix, “Stranger Things.” HUGE thank you to Stranger Things for allowing us to run amok for a few minutes on their amazing show!

Crow goes fishing and discusses the benefits of his "incredibly stable" kayak before being capsized by Servo on a jet ski.

Gypsy and Servo discuss actual temperature versus the wind chill factor. Servo then begins translating everything Gypsy says into "feels like..." statements, much to her annoyance.

Servo dresses up as a clown, thinking it to be a Thanksgiving tradition. Crow consults an old World Book encyclopedia to verify.

Crow plays solitaire while Servo advises. Eventually Crow becomes fed up with Servo's pestering and leaves. Servo sees a fantastic move, but can't play as his arms don't work. Desperate, he unsuccessfully tries to move the cards using telekinesis, but in the process breaks himself.

Reefer Madness (originally made as Tell Your Children and sometimes titled The Burning Question, Dope Addict, Doped Youth, and Love Madness) is a 1936 American propaganda film about drugs, revolving around the melodramatic events that ensue when high school students are lured by pushers to try marijuana – upon trying it, they become addicted, eventually leading them to become involved in various crimes such as a hit and run accident, manslaughter, murder, conspiracy to murder and attempted rape. While this is all happening they suffer hallucinations, descend into insanity, associate with organized crime and (in one character's case) commit suicide. The film was directed by Louis J. Gasnier and featured a cast of mainly little-known actors.

[2-D VERSION] In MST3K's first-ever Halloween episode, the crew watches a 3D horror film about an accursed skull mask in THE MASK in 3D (1961). Meanwhile, on the SOL, Jonah teaches the bots about the spookiest holiday.

Assignment: Venezuela is a 1956 short film produced by the Creole Petroleum Corporation, created to encourage American employees to work at their location(s) in Venezuela. Creole was the Venezuelan subsidiary of Standard Oil of New Jersey, later renamed Exxon. The short shows an American employee of the company arriving at Venezuela to work at the Lake Maracaibo oil fields. His narration serves as the letters he writes to his family. He learns about the country's historic background and sees the country's sights and its cities, which impress him with their modernity. He looks into a temporary housing complex while waiting for a house and learns Spanish while preparing for his family's eventual arrival.

Mr. B's Lost Shorts??!! is a compilation of shorts from Mystery Science Theater 3000. Originally released by Best Brains, Inc. exclusively on VHS through the MST3K Info Club, it was later re-packaged with Rhino Entertainment's Volume 6 box set in October of 2004 and again as part of Shout Factory's reissue Volume VI. It was originally released on VHS and later as a limited bonus with The Essentials DVD set if the set was ordered through a special website offer. Shorts, Volume 3 has since been re-released by Shout! Factory in The Singles Collection. Mystery Science Theater 3000: Serial Variety Pack is a DVD bonus disc made available to early purchasers of Mystery Science Theater 3000: Volume XXVII directly from Shout! Factory. It was released alongside Volume XXVII on July 27, 2013. The disc features all of the theater segments from the serials The Phantom Creeps and Undersea Kingdom, as well as the TV series General Hospital.
