First episode to air as "The Soup" It all started in 1991 with the birth of E!'s Talk Soup, a tasty dish that recapped the week in talk shows and launched the careers of it's hosts Greg Kinnear, John Henson, Hal Sparks and Aisha Tyler. Now, over a decade later, E! is introducing the show's new offspring The Soup which looks past talk shows and skewers everything in pop-culture.

Joel introduces the Reality Clip of the Season: An overweight child from Trading Spouses who falls in love with a sandwich. Runners up for Reality Clip of the Season included a contestant on I Wanna Be A Soap Star accidentally hitting a woman in the face with a phone and a creepy woman from Wife Swap getting irrationally upset over her dogs. In honor of Thanksgiving, The Soup gives thanks for bizarre celebrity behavior and celebrity toys that hopefully won't end up in anyone's stocking. Plus, a holiday message from the NBA and Thanksgiving-themed clips.
