Greg and his kids moved into Tracy's 3,500-square foot home, but they soon realized it's not big enough for this blended family. With a budget of up to $850,000, they're hoping to find a home with five or six bedrooms and three bathrooms on a big piece of land close to downtown Portland. Although their budget is substantial, their demands for a home could prove to be tough to meet.

With a budget of up to $200,000, they're also hoping they can find a place with a finished basement and plenty of outdoor entertaining space.

They're comfortable, but the place is small, and they're ready to own their own place. They've decided to focus their hunt in the community of Plymouth, nine miles west of Minneapolis. With a budget of $350,000, Nick and Krista are looking for a two-story traditional home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
