The Penthouse Grill: AUSTIN spots CARRIE heading into the elevator, leaving The Penthouse Grill, he asks her why she isn't staying for the wedding, she says she has to go and help MIKE at the hospital, but she'll be right back. Inside, LAURA is organizing "SUSAN" (Actually Kristen in disguise) and EDMUND'S wedding when VIVIAN arrives and congratulates her on her performance at "KRISTEN'S" funeral, both Laura and Vivian agree Kristen is better off dead, as Laura thinks back to the night "Kristen" was murdered, Laura thinks of her shooting "Kristen", she then decides to go home and get changed. Later, Vivian gives Edmund a wedding present for himself and "Susan", as SISTER MARY MOIRA enters she confronts Vivian as they speak about JONESY'S death, Vivian then gives Sister Mary Moira a check for $25 000 as she is now Mega Rich after being married to Jonesy. Vivian later tells SAMI that she has to be blackmailing KATE to have her job at Titan; Sami keeps her lips sealed. JACK, JENNIFER,

Nicole and Taylor have a confrontation at Nicole's place. Taylor attacks her sister for the way she lied to Eric, and accuses Nicole of ruining the friendship that she [Taylor] and Eric had. Eric meets up with Austin and Carrie and tells them about the break up, but Austin tells Eric that if he really loves Nicole he should take a moment to think about what his life would be like without her in it. Austin's words make Carrie feel guilty, and later, she tells Austin she's ready to start a family, as Eric knocks on Nicole's door. Stefano is furious when Vivian signs power of attorney papers giving John control. Vivian, Celeste, and John leave, and a furious Stefano relays his frustrations to Rolf. Stefano wants to use the mind control on Vivian, and Rolf warns him that Vivian could die from just one more push of the button. Later Stefano watches John and Vivian on the monitor at Jonesy's townhouse, and vows that John will never get his hands on his [Stefano's] treasures.

After learning she must marry Jonsey to gain control of his riches, Vivian forces Ivan to dress up as a priest and marry the two of them. Later, Vivian discovers Jonsey intends on sharing a real honeymoon with her. Eric lays into Marlena after catching her murmuring John’s name while deep in sleep by Roman’s bedside. Later, Marlena feels racked with guilt, torn between two men. Stefano tries to reach out to John, saying they should be friends, but John will have nothing to do with him. Jennifer finally manages to get the warden’s password and attempts to send it to Jack. Meanwhile, T.C. and Travis decide it’s time to do something about Jennifer.

Vivian manages to escape a night of passion with Jonsey when he passes out from the celebratory champagne. However, it looks as though he may be more than passed out and Vivian and Ivan fear he’s dead. Armed with the warden’s password, Jack is able to discover Trent and Travis are one in the same and realizes how much danger Jennifer is in. Meanwhile, Travis has gone ahead with his plan to kidnap Jennifer and attempts to knock her out with a rag of ether. Stefano turns out to be the hero in the eleventh hour when it looks like Roman will die as he comes up with a serum to help improve his condition. John finally gets a moment alone with Marlena and questions her about their status.

Ignoring Stefano and taking matters into his own hands, Travis, careful not to divulge his plan to Stefano, after nearly being caught by Laura, manages to stuff an unconscious Jennifer in his trunk and drive out of town with her. Jack stuffs his computer under his cell room pillow knowing it contains all the necessary information to gain his freedom. However, his secret threatens to be destroyed when T.C. decides to search his cell. John tells Marlena they must inform Roman of their relationship and is surprised when she exclaims they can’t. Later, John makes a passionate plea to her, and she decides to tell Roman when he wakes up.

Vivian is frustrated when she discovers Jonsey has signed over his fortune to his "Flora Dora" and knows she must get him to change his will before he dies. Susan becomes increasingly convinced Elvis is the father of her baby and Mary Moira, not knowing Stefano’s scam, is determined to bring her sister back to reality. Carrie dismisses thoughts of Mike in her head, knowing Sami has maneuvered to plant them there. Meanwhile, Sami decides she needs another ally to help her get Mike and Carrie together. Mike and Laura are puzzled about Jennifer’s whereabouts but find a fake note left by Travis in Jen’s name and think she’s gone to follow up on a lead for Jack. Jennifer wakes to discovers she’s been kidnapped by Trent, whom she learns is really Travis. Later, she is horrified to learn he plans on delivering her to Peter Blake!

While at the hospital seeing Roman, Sami is fired as Mike’s assistant. Later, Lucas horrifies Sami by saying if she doesn’t give up on Austin, he won’t hesitate to take Will away from her. Still thinking Sami is to blame for her feelings, Carrie continues to have thoughts about the times she and Mike have shared. Meanwhile, Mike holds on to hope that he and Carrie’s friendship could eventually lead to love. Eric continues to express his disapproval over John and Marlena’s relationship which throws Marlena into more turmoil over the two men in her life. Kristen is horrified to learn Stefano plans on kidnapping little Elvis. Meanwhile, Celeste shares her premonition with Susan that little Elvis’ father is coming for him.

Kristen learns Stefano is little Elvis’ father and agrees to take part in a plan he has for the child. However, their efforts to drug Susan are short lived when Susan awakes and catches them red-handed in the midst of their plot. Travis heads back to Salem to calm Horton fears about Jennifer, telling them she’s following up on a lead for Jack. Later, Jennifer panics and thinks her family will never come for her. Mickey tells Jack "Trent" has assured them Jennifer is fine and Jack freaks, knowing Jennifer has now been kidnapped.

Jack is desperate to save Jennifer but fears it’s impossible since he’s in jail. However, his cellmate, Herbie, informs him of a secret tunnel and Jack is determined to escape. T.C. catches up with Travis and informs him that everyone in Salem in on to him. Jennifer takes hope from this, thinking there’s a chance her family will rescue her. Susan is devastated to learn Stefano is the father of her child and fears he will take little Elvis. However, Mary Moira prevents him from taking him temporarily by a surprising use of karate. John finds it difficult to keep his and Marlena’s secret from Roman, especially when Roman asks him to be the best man at his wedding.

Marlena stops John from telling Roman the truth, citing any bad news could cause him a setback. Later, John concern about his relationship increases when Marlena agrees to have Roman move in with her. Laura is on the verge of another emotional breakdown when she discovers just how dangerous Travis is. Meanwhile, Abe does all he can to arrange a manhunt for Travis and Jennifer. Jack finally manages to break free and through the prison walls just as it’s discovered he’s missing.

Jennifer tries to appeal to Travis’ good side and begs him to let her go. However, her pleas have little affect on him and he intends to go ahead with his plan to deliver her to Peter. Jack manages to overpower a guard and make his way to Jen’s house, only to discover it surrounded with police. However, he sneaks in the window anyway just as a cop discovers his footprints around the house. Bo finds out from Roman the danger Hope faced while in the jungle and realizes the feelings he had in Rome were correct. Later, he and Billie end up at Jen’s house where Hope is hanging out, and the two exchange glances.

Bo and Hope finally talk as both attempt to explain the events that lead them to be apart. Later, Bo reaches out to Hope to comfort her as Franco and Billie witness. While Stefano is on the phone with Travis, friends and family learn Jennifer is alive. Later, Kristen suggests to Stefano the only way to really gain points with everyone is for him to admit Peter is alive. Laura manages to get Jack a change of clothes before he heads off to break into Travis’ house. Later, he finds the address of Travis’ old girlfriend and hopes he can use that as a lead. Jennifer takes advantage of time alone with T.C. and tries to seduce him into letting her go.

Hope takes comfort in knowing Bo was only staying by Billie’s side because of her illness. However, she clearly doesn’t realize that they are now truly man and wife. Both Lexie and Kristen plead with Stefano to tell the truth about Peter, each for very different reasons. Later, in a dramatic moment, Stefano finally admits Peter is alive. Travis arranges a disguise for himself and Jennifer and tries to split from the hotel room. Later, they’re pulled over by the police and Jennifer hopes she may be rescued.

John, pained over Roman moving in with Marlena, decides he may as well move back in with Kristen. Meanwhile, at Marlena’s penthouse, Roman and Marlena share some time alone and end up kissing. Despite having told everyone Peter is alive, Stefano covers when he receives a call from him. Later, Peter is surprised to find Stefano doesn’t have Jennifer and learns Jack has escaped from prison. Meanwhile, Jack catches up to T.C. at the seedy motel and discovers Travis has disguised himself and Jennifer and left the place. Needing a bargaining tool, Jack demands T.C. come with him to find Travis.

Disturbed over Roman and Marlena’s growing relationship, John decides to do something drastic and heads over to Marlena’s to give her a kiss she’ll never forget. Lucas catches Sami pouring over her blackmail material on Kate. Later, Sami begs to be Lucas’ friend once again but he quickly rebuffs her. Bo is confused over Hope’s feelings for him but later, seems to get his answer when he see she and Franco lip-locked on the pier. However, unbeknownst to him, Hope has only thoughts of him. Billie begins to grow uneasy about her relationship with Bo, especially after he refuses to move into Kate’s with her.

Jack happens upon a clue Jennifer has left him and with Abby’s help and discovers Travis is taking her to the Grand Canyon. However, T.C. threatens to stop him from getting to her when he removes the brakes from Jack’s car, causing it to crash. Meanwhile, Jennifer is horrified when Travis receives a call from Peter who demands to talk with her. Earlier, Peter is bitten by a mosquito and unwittingly shrugs off the sting. Kristen tries to coax Susan into giving her little Elvis, saying it’s the only way to protect him from Dimera influence. Lucas tries to get Sami to reveal the dirt she has on Kate. Meanwhile, Kate tells Sami she no longer cares what she has over her. Kate later gives Carrie a promotion at Titan to head her own division.

Sami toys with Kate, leading her to believe all her secrets will be published in a local tabloid. However, much to Kate’s relief, she discovers Sami has not revealed her secrets after all. After arriving at the Grand Canyon, Jennifer takes advantage of a distraction and tries to escape from Travis. Meanwhile, after emerging virtually unscathed from the car accident, Jack calls Laura and has her inform the authorities where Travis has taken Jennifer. Peter dismisses Tawny’s concern over his mosquito bite thinking it’s nothing. However, he later displays unexplainable strength as he rips a sink out of a wall.

Billie grows increasingly nervous about testifying against Max, thinking he will reveal she had been hooked on drugs again. Hoping she will drop her efforts to blackmail her, Kate gives Sami a Director’s position at Titan. However, after accepting the job, Sami informs Lucas she has no intention of giving up on the blackmail. Meanwhile, Franco decides to follow Sami. Jack hitches a ride with an old cowboy who ultimately covers for him when they’re stopped at a roadblock. Later, Jack is dropped off in the Grand Canyon. Peter is desperate to board a plane to the Grand Canyon to go after Jen. However, unbeknownst to him, he has contracted a strange case of jungle disease that causes fits of rage and overpowering strength.

Max continues to threaten Billie if she testifies against him, he’ll tell everyone she is a junkie. Hope goes to see Bo at the police station only to find him hugging Billie and comforting her. Kristen remains confidant that if she can get Susan to hand over little Elvis, she can secure John’s love for her once again. After hearing Kristen go on and on about Roman and Marlena, John storms away from a dinner with she, Eric and Roman, leaving Roman puzzled about his behavior. Peter is overwhelmed by his illness and ends up passing out, missing his cargo flight. Meanwhile, Jack realizes Travis once spoke of a family cabin in the Grand Canyon and heads out to find Jennifer.

Still curious over John’s behavior, Roman confronts him asking him if he and Kristen’s marriage is strong and secure. Meanwhile, Eric continues to pressure John to stay away from Marlena so that she and Roman can reunite. After learning Sami doesn’t plan on keeping her end of their bargain, Franco tells her she’s in over her head and vows to take care of her. Billie decides to milk Bo’s desire to comfort her for all she can while Hope is watching them. Later, an upset Hope leaves the scene only to run into Max who tells her that while in Rome, Billie was hooked on drugs again.

Laura breaks into Travis’ house and finds a photo depicting the location of his family cabin. Laura hopes Jack will call so she can relay the information, but unbeknownst to her, Jack is being held at gunpoint. John and Marlena both lament that they can’t stand deceiving Roman but know they must continue for his health. Later, Marlena realizes the day she must tell Roman the truth is fast approaching. Eric begins to get suspicious of Sami and her new position at Titan not knowing she is blackmailing Kate. Meanwhile, Sami continues to be followed by a mysterious stalker.

Kristen starts to get ahead of herself, thinking she is going to get little Elvis and goes to Salem Place to buy a bunch of baby stuff. Later, she runs into Marlena who immediately is suspicious of Kristen’s purchases. After talking to Celeste and realizing the danger Stefano could pose to little Elvis, Susan makes an important decision regarding her baby. John gets Lexie to visit Stefano under false pretenses and figure out the whereabouts of Peter. Later, Lexie overhears him telling Bart that Peter has left the island and is on his way to the mainland. Jack almost sways the militia man holding him at gunpoint to help him search for Travis’ cabin, but when he sees a picture of the cabin in question, he backs out saying there’s no way he’d ever go there.

Jack learns from a militia guy that Travis murdered his parents at the family cabin years ago. Later, Jack sets out on foot to scale a mountain en route to the cabin. Jennifer takes advantage of Travis’ poor tie-up job and is able to worm her way out of the ropes binding her. Later, she tries to escape out the window but Travis catches her. After learning from Lexie Peter could be at Stefano’s compound, John boards a plane headed there hoping to locate Jennifer and clear Jack’s name. Marlena becomes increasingly suspicious of Kristen’s behavior, seeing she’s bought up every toy in Salem. Later, Marlena catches her talking to Susan at the Dimera mansion.

Roman begins to get a little wary after hearing a phone message John left for Marlena. Confident Marlena will tell her the truth, Roman decides to ask her what’s going on with John. Hope learns from Bo the real reason he stayed with Billie in Rome. Later, the two seem on the road to reconciliation after sharing a kiss. Susan tells Kristen she’s not about to let her take Elvis from her and surprising, Kristen doesn’t fight her on it. Meanwhile, Marlena and Celeste deduce Stefano is little Elvis’ father. In the jungle, Peter has another attack of his jungle disease and has a dangerous encounter with a panther. Jack continues to make his way toward Travis’ cabin just as Travis steps outside to survey the area.

Celeste and Marlena confront Stefano about little Elvis but Stefano is on to their line of questioning and is careful to give nothing away to them. Kristen manages to drug Susan and gets her to sign the court papers, giving Kristen custody of Elvis. Later, Kristen, disguised as Susan, dashes off to the convent to get the baby and runs into Celeste. After telling Marlena he hopes John isn’t developing feelings for her, Roman shows her the necklace John has given her and asks her about it. Not wanting to lie, Marlena is forced to admit it was a gift from John. Travis spies Jack ascending the mountain and rolls a huge boulder his way. Later, Jack lays on the ground, seemingly motionless. Meanwhile, Jennifer manages to pull up the floorboards of the cabin and attempts to find a way out.

Before Marlena can explain the real reason John gave her the necklace, Roman attempts to rationalize it himself, saying he’s sure John gave it to her as a sign of their friendship. Susan is devastated to discover she’s inadvertently signed away her child to Kristen. However, Kristen puts the fear of god in her using Stefano as a threat and Susan is forced to leave the Dimera mansion without Elvis. Bo admits to Billie he ran into Hope and told her about Max feeding Billie drugs again. Later, Billie grows increasingly insecure about Bo’s feelings for her and pulls him in a kiss. Meanwhile, Hope tells Franco she’s certain Bo and Billie relationship isn’t for real.

Bo confesses to Billie now that he knows Hope and Franco aren’t an item, he’s confused about his feelings. Suspicious over Sami’s new job at Titan, Austin and Carrie speculate that perhaps Sami has dirt on Kate. However, when confronted about the issue, both Sami and Kate remain tight-lipped about what’s going on. Despite his injuries, Jack continues to make his way toward the cabin, not knowing a park ranger is hunting him down. Meanwhile, in the cabin basement, Jennifer grows apprehensive when she hears Travis return.

John returns from his failed jungle trip and is upset to find Roman tending to Marlena’s emotional needs. Later, John’s heart skips a beat when Roman dangles the necklace John gave Marlena in front of him and proclaims he knows what’s been going on. Austin and Carrie enlist Eric to help them figure out what Sami is up to. Kate urges Billie to fight for Bo, especially considering all she’s done to get them back together.In another bout of jungle madness, Peter manages to single-handedly kill a panther and make his way back to Stefano’s compound in search for a cure for his illness. Jen manages to pretend she’s still bound to Travis who quickly informs her Jack is dead. Later, Travis appears to her in a towel, posing a new threat to her. Meanwhile, having been caught by the ranger, Jack manages to knock him out and continues his pursuit of Jennifer and Travis.

John feels like an outsider as Roman and Marlena share a Christmas moments with their children. Later, Roman becomes so swept up in the moment that he kisses Marlena. Having lost her baby, Susan feels like she’s at the end of her rope and contemplates jumping off the pier just as John appears on the scene. Dr. Rolf finishes the cure for Peter and administers it to him, unsure as to whether or not it will work. Jennifer is saved from being sexually assaulted by Travis when Peter phones them and interrupts. Later, Jennifer is able to make her way down to the cellar again and attempts to escape.

Laura tries to get Kristen to reveal Peter is alive by telling her to remember that she and Jennifer were once best friends. Later, Laura almost catches Peter when he calls Jennifer.After seeing the airstrip leaving the island has been washed out, Peter becomes desperate to get to Jennifer and attempts to hijack Rolf’s plane. Travis catches Jen trying to escape and discovers she knows he murdered his family. Later, Jen manages to overpower him and lock him in the cellar, escaping out the front door. John reaches out to Susan who is depressed on the pier. However, Susan doesn’t reveal Kristen took her baby and John is forced to think she’s just a lonely woman. Later, Susan exclaims there’s only one person who can help her.

After finally getting to the cabin, Jack realizes Jen has escaped and Travis is trapped in the cellar. Meanwhile, Jennifer has a fantasy about Jack being alive and later realizes he is. John and Marlena grow increasingly frustrated over not being able to go public to Roman with their feelings. Meanwhile, Eric continues to be agitated over John and Marlena’s involvement. Kristen couldn’t’ be happier now that she has "her" baby back in her arms. However, she doesn’t realize that Stefano has ulterior plans involving her. Peter manages to overpower Rolf and boards the plane not realizing in the confrontation, he has dropped his bottle of pills. Susan is ready to spring into action after having a fantasy in which Elvis encourages her to move on with her life and get her baby back.

After Marlena tells him she suspects Stefano is the father of Susan’s baby, John heads to Kristen’s to check things out under the guise of wanting to make amends. Later, he nearly misses seeing Stefano with the baby. Susan goes to see a mysterious man, Thomas, and asks him to help her get her baby back. After an intense showdown with Travis, Jack is able to overpower him and send him to his death. Later, Jack and Jen are reunited but unbeknownst to them, Peter is about to arrive on the scene.

Jack and Jen take refuge in a cave, knowing the ranger in on a manhunt for Jack. Later, Jack wants to turn himself in to save Jen but she begs him not to. Still without his pills, Peter continues to race toward the Grand Canyon in a plane with an almost empty fuel tank. Bo, Billie, and Hope find their holiday preparations somewhat awkward as the three of them struggle with their feelings toward one another. Behind Lucas’ back, Sami manipulates Austin into taking Will to see Santa. later, they take a group photo of the event and Sami requests that Lucas be cropped out.

Marlena continues to be torn between her two men after both have Christmas photos taken with her. Meanwhile, John arranges a dinner with Kristen in an attempt to probe around about Stefano and the baby. Discovering Rolf has been kidnapped by the ISA, Stefano is concerned he will reveal Peter’s whereabouts. However he’s later relieved to find he hasn’t and attempt to contact Peter himself. Peter makes it to the Grand Canyon and narrowly misses coming face to face with Jack and Jennifer. It is discovered the man Susan has asked to help her get her baby back is Thomas, the triplett sibling of Susan and Mary Moira.

Roman surprises Marlena by taking her to their old house. Despite the memories she has of her and Roman, she still remains torn. Much to Kristen’s horror and in a strange twist of fate, Stefano hands over to Elvis to John, who immediately reunites him with Susan at the Brady Pub on Christmas Eve. While hanging ornaments on the tree, Alice says a prayer for Jack and Jen’s safe return. Later, everyone is delighted when the two arrive in time to hang their ornaments. Hope and Billie put aside their personal feelings for a few moments to exchange Christmas greetings.

Despite their happy reunion with the Hortons, Jack knows he’s still a wanted man and enlist the help of Laura to help him in a plan. Later, suspicious of Laura, the authorities order her followed. In the midst of another jungle madness attack, Peter continues his pursuit of Jen. Marlena tells Eric as son as Roman is given a clean bill of health, she will tell him about her and John. Later, John demands Marlena tell him how he feels about her. Kristen remains determined to gain custody of little Elvis.

After overhearing Sami lament to Roman no man has ever told her he loved her besides Austin, Franco begins to formulate a plan to nail her. Carrie urges Eric to stay out of Marlena’s love life, telling him whatever she decides to do is her decision to make. Peter follows Laura to the Horton house and discovers Jack and Jen are inside. Later, Laura arranges for Jack, Jen and Abby to drive away in an escape car just as Peter jumps in his car to follow them. John and Marlena learn Kristen coerced Susan into signing over Elvis and rush to her aid to figure out a way to reverse the situation.

In a dramatic moment, John and Marlena are able to aid Susan in thwarting Kristen by having her disguise herself as Kristen at the custody hearing, enabling Susan to win custody of Elvis. Franco begins to worm his way into Sami’s heart by attempt to flatter her ask she picks out a dress for New Years Eve. Later, he tells her make herself appear unavailable to Austin, thus making her more desirable. Lexie confronts Mike about his still strong feelings for Carrie and tells him she may be on the verge of find out. Later, Lexie urges Mike to bring a date to the New Years Eve party.
