Kristen is at the Horton Cabin meant to be looking after kids from the Horton centre, who didn't show. John rushes to see her to tell his news about being released from his vows. Tony is also on his way to the cabin to tell Kristen he can see. Stefano and Celeste discuss their schemes. Jonah starts having fantasies about Lexie. John gets to Kristen first. After Celeste tells Stefano that Tony had a gun, Stefano rushes to the ferry. His contacts have told him that Tony is there.

Celeste demands from Mike, Marlena's alarm code. Jack and Laura get very friendly. Jennifer decides to visit her mother. Billie tries again to persuade Bo that Gina isn't Hope, but finally approves of Hope moving out. John and Kristen are still stuck on the island and Kristen is still adamant that she's staying with Tony. After spraining her ankle, John cradle Kristen in his arms. The closeness is too much and they start to kiss. Tony keen to see Kristen rushes to see if there is a ferry to the island. While waiting he looks through the telescope and sees John and Kristen kissing. With the alarm code, Stefano enters Marlena's apartment.

Jennifer and Peter visit Laura. She tells them about how happy she is to be at the Meadows and wants them to meet her friend. Tony agonises over what he has seen. Bo and Hope finally leave Billie. Thinking Hope is at the apartment alone, Celeste sneaks into plant another memory. Billie, after having a shower and drinking the drugged tea, she falls asleep on the couch with the towel hiding her face. Celeste begins to brainwash a memory to Billie thinking she is Hope.

Celeste relates the memory of Bo and Hope's first night in the Loft to Billie. Billie wakes from her sleep calling that she's not Hope. Celeste sees that it's Billie. Bo tries to recall their past to Hope, but she can't remember anything. When Mike escorts Marlena home, he checks her apartment, as he feels quilty for giving away her alarm code. After struggling with Celeste who ran out, Austin comes to Billie's rescue. She explains about her dream. When Celeste ran out she left behind her book of Hope memories. Billie now realised that someone thought she was Hope and she must find proof to give to Bo before he and Hope make love. As Marlena sleeps, Stefano appears from inside her closet and has a mask and cape on.

Billie finds the book of memories and now must find Bo. Stefano speaks to a sleeping Marlena and recalls the time she stripped for him at Maison Blanche. He kisses her and she awakens. He asks her to change into a beautiful white gown. She, of course, doesn't know who he is. John and Kristen are STILL on the island and Tony is seething at the dock. Celeste meets him and tries to calm his rage. Stefano take Marlena through her closet into a ballroom full of people. They dance and dance, then all of a sudden Marlena wakes in her bed. John and Kristen finally return home, Tony opens the door and pretends that he still is blind. Kristen doesn't tell him that John is there.

Billie still hasn't found Bo and tells Carries about the book of memories. Bo and Hope have taken off on the bike and due to a flat tire, camp out under the stars. They find themselves on a farm with a couple who help them on their way to the cabin. Billie finds out from Mrs Horton that Bo and Hope are headed to the cabin on the lake. Jack and Laura discuss his ex-wife and daughter and Laura's problem with intimacy. They role play being lovers and end up kissing.

Marlena wakes from her sleep feeling exhausted. She tells Mike about her dream. Laura asks Jack why he kissed her and he tells her she needed it. (They still don't know each other's name.) With help from Kate, Billie gets a lift in a helicopter to the cabin. Bo and Hope are about to make love. Jack want to see Jennifer. Laura phones Daniel and asks him out for dinner. Peter doesn't want him to go in fear that Laura will find out that Daniel works for him. While reading tarot cards, Celeste sees the "EVIL" card and tells Stefano to stope his pursuit of Marlena. Billie arrives just in the nick of time. She tells them she can prove that Gina is not Hope.

Carrie and Austin pick up a devastated Billie from the ferry dock. Hope is torn at wether to show Bo the book of memories. Bo talks of getting on with their lives the way it was in the past. Hope says she doesn't want to live in the past and asks if he can love her for who she is. Bo evades the question. She then burns the book thinking she can't loose Bo no matter what. Kate seeks out Billie and gives her comfort. Sami asks Lucas help in breaking up Carrie and Austin as it would benefit them both.

Billie decides to leave Salem. Bo and Hope start to make love but Hope breaks away, quilt starting to take over. She tells him she's not Hope, and Billie was right all along. She pulls the book from the fire and gives it to Bo. Bo realises the truth and tells Gina that the only person who could keep him from Billie was Hope and she's not Hope. Bo rushes back to Salem so he can tell Billie he loves her. Jennifer phones Jack and tells him he can have visitation rights with Abbey but it's all over between them as she's in love with someone else. Laura gets a "Dear John" letter from Daniel, breaking their date. Jack and Laura turn to each other in their sorrow and make love. Bo and Gina find a note from Billie saying she's left town. Billie heads for the train station.

Bo finds out that Billie didn't leave by plane, so he and Gina split up, he to the train station and Gina to the bus station. Laura and Jack are uncomfortable at first, but then realise that this is their time together and are at it again. Jennifer phones her mother to wish her happy thanksgiving and Laura tells her about Daniel not turn up. Jennifer and Peter decide to visit Laura to cheer her up. They discuss if they are doing the right thing just outside Laura's door and Jack and Laura make love inside. Bo searches the train station, but to no avail as Billie boards the train. Gina tells Mrs Horton that she's not Hope, but Mrs Horton doesn't believe her.

Jennifer opens Laura's door and find Laura naked. When Jennifer realises there is someone in the shower, she thinks it's Daniel after all. When Laura tells her it's not Daniel but Clark (Jack's pretend name), Jennifer is embarrassed she barged in on her mother. Laura tells Jennifer she is very happy at the moment. Jennifer goes back to the lounge to tell Peter about Laura and her friend. Bo still hunting at the train station. He calls Billie over the PA system, but, of course, Billie doesn't hear anything. Billie reminisces about Bo. Bo has a lucky break as the trains are delayed, so he runs out to look through the train. He finally spots Billie from outside and as the train starts to pull away, Bo runs along side trying to get Billie's attention, of course, to no avail.

Celeste is on the same train as Billie to make sure she stays away from Salem. Jonah and Lexie are also on the same train going to a medical convention, not realising the other was going. Billie meets Celeste on the train and remembers her from New Orleans and then figures she was the one brainwashing Gina. Celeste denies this. Billie and Lexie meet in the walkway and Billie tells her why she's leaving Salem. Lexie tells her to go back and fight for her man, but Celeste meets Billie again as she's about to get of the train and persuades her with a tarot card reading to stay on the train. Celeste predicts much happiness for Billie. Lexie sees Celeste for the first time and think she looks familiar. While this is all happening, Bo is on his motorbike following the train to the next slow down point, where he gets on a nearby train and jumps onto Billie's train as it passes. Stefano comes out of Marlena's closet in his cape and mask for another night of dancing with Marlena.

Stefano take Marlena to the Opera. She is dressed to kill and he places a tiara and a beautiful necklace on her. John has dinner at the Penthouse Grill where Tony and Kristen show. Tony realises he can watch them without them realising he can see. Later while Tony is talking to Celeste, she hands him a piece of paper with Stefano's phone number. Kristen sees him from afar. Bo finally finds Billie, but it takes a bit of persuasion for her to come around and at the end Bo asks her to marry him.

Billie finally says "yes" to Bo and they make love on the train. Gina tells Austin and Carrie that Bo knows the truth and went to find Billie. Tony sees Kristen looking at him from a mirror. He tells Celeste to pretend she made a mistake. Both John and Kristen see Celeste and are angry that she's back in town. She claims that she has severed all ties with Stefano and is asking Tony for a job.

Tony sets up John and Kristen alone in the basement of Barron's store, to watch them together. Someone sets fire to the Salem Place Christmas tree.

As part of The Meadows program, Jack and Laura must spend time at "Green Mountain Ski Lodge" and try out their new skills. Peter decides to take Jennifer away for the weekend. Guess where? Carries again gets cornered on the stand by Alan's lawyer and the Judge decides not to use the tape Carrie made. Abe invites Jonah for the holidays but he say no. Jonah is now having fantasies of Lexie.

The jury comes to an impasse and the judge declares a mistrial. Alan flaunts it in front of Carrie, Sami, Austin and Jamie. Carries apologies to Sami and say she'll take all the blame. Sami slaps her. Jonah sees Lexie naked in the steam room at Titan Health Club. Sami tells Carrie she hates her. Lexie can't take Jonah's coldness towards her and asks out right if he wants her. Jonah kisses her. Lucas decides to help Sami break up Carrie and Austin.

John collects Marlena for Bo and Billies engagement party. He comments on how awful she looks. Jack gets friendly with Peter at the bar. Preparing for the party, Kristen faints and Mrs Horton asks her if she's pregnant. John overhears this. Billie convinces Gina to stay in Salem. Jack is all set to confront Jennifer, but Jennifer and Peter have left for Salem and the party. Marlena can't take anymore rejection from Sami, so she leaves the party. Stefano comes to her again.

Bo seeks Gina out and thanks her for all her help. She tells him she loves him. Stefano takes Marlena to the docks. Jennifer is edgy and sad. She tells Peter today was meant to be a special day when Jack was to give her a poem. He promised to always give her a poem on this day. Jack remembers what day it is and is determined to give her a poem. Kristen has a test and it shows negative. Jack watches Jennifer read the poem from the window. She gets angry and crumbles the paper. She tells Peter it's just another ploy by Jack and says she will marry Peter. He tells her wants her answer when she is calm and not as revenge against Jack.

Mrs Horton and Maggie find the Horton Centre vandalised. Sami pulls a big scam, pretending Alan or someone had attacked her. Jamie calls Austin just as Sami planned. After helping an elderly lady by reciting a prayer, John feels he should try being a priest for a little while. Father Kyle leaves John a priest collar. While looking at him Marlena becomes agitated. A party is being held at the pub for the Horton Centre children. Someone sets fire to the presents.

Bo and Abe inspect the scene of the fire. Bo is surprised when he finds a set of Brady Fish Market matches. Shawn wonders what former customer it could be. Tony tells Charles he needs everything ready before Kristen returns home and will slowly tell her that he's regained his sight. Father Paul tells Kristen that the ancient scrolls may have caused Father Francis' attack. Kristen visits with Father Francis, who is now at the hospital in a stroke-like state. Kristen runs into Tony and says she thinks John can help with Father Francis' warning. Kristen then tells Dr. Bader she's not ready to start a family yet and asks her for birth control pills. Stefano is angry at Celeste with her constant reading of the tarot cards. She says she has to keep the evil spirits away. Gina follows who she thinks is Celeste into the church and ends up being knocked over the head with a book by the desecrator. When Caroline, John and Kristen go to decorate the church, they find Gina unconscious on the floor and the church spray-painted. Marlena rushes to the church because Abe called her for the psychological profile of the person doing the crimes. Caroline wonders if the desecrator could be someone they know. Celeste fears with Stefano interfering in Marlena's dreams has caused something evil to enter Salem. John fights the person in black but they are too strong and rush out as Abe and Kristen arrive at the church. John has grease paint on his hands. The person in black had covered their face commando style. Then we see gloved hands removing grease paint from their face. They remove their cap to show blonde hair and then we see the persons face. It's MARLENA!!!!!!! Everyone pitches in to help clean the church for midnight mass. John finds the hammer Marlena dropped. The hammer has initials SB on it, and John recalls that it belongs to Shawn Brady. They figure the person doing all the damage is someone close to the Brady's. Presents are being opened at the DiMera's, Kiriakis and the Hortons. Bo asks Billie to give her mother a gift by inviting her to their wedding. Gina is with John and the kids. Marlena dreams of all that she has done to Salem. She wakes feeling very cold. Billie and Bo meet Vic and Kate in the park. Billie invites Kate to her wedding. Marlena gets back in bed and the bed starts moving again. Mrs Horton asks Gina over for dinner and gives Gina an ornament with her name on it to put on the tree. John goes to check on Marlena but she doesn't answer the door. She's too busy levitating above her bed. Vic asks Bo to be godfather to his son. Marlena wakes and as she gets out of bed her bedroom door slams shut. As she approaches the door, her chest of drawers moves towards her.

The girls are trying on their bridesmaids dresses. Kristen has called a designer to make Billie's dress. Billie has no place to have her reception. John goes over to check on Marlena. He has a key and lets himself in. He has to force himself into her room and finds her still asleep and very cold. Vic and Kate decide to postpone their wedding so that Bo and Billie can have the Penthouse Grill for their reception. It's a gift for them. John is shocked to see Marlena's condition and calls an ambulance to take her to hospital.

Marlena tells John that someone tried to attack her but she didn't know who it was. She remembers seeing someone with red eyes and a terrible laugh. When John and Mike don't believe here when she tells them he was a monster, she becomes hysterical. John and Mike try to calm her but she fights them both. Mike gives her a sedative to put her to sleep. As John and Mike discuss Marlena they find her standing there next to them. Mike is astounded that she is awake. She demands to go home. John takes her home and helps her into bed. As John leaves Marlena turns around and has green eyes and says to John's retreating back, "you won't win" in a very evil voice.

The day of Billie's bridal shower. John comes back with tea for Marlena and she's in "devil" mode (green eyes). She picks up a pair of scissors. Alice gives Lucas a belated gift, a Christmas ornament with his name on it. Kristen sees her doctor for a prescription for the pill. Marlena comes to and wonders why she's holding scissors. John leaves again as Marlena sleeps. A shadow appears in her room and she awakes "devil" mode saying "Yes I hear you and I will find the traitor." We see the shadow who has red eyes. Marlena, dressed in her desecrator outfit, is at the church. She is being told what to do and looks up to the hanging chandelier above. She loosens the nuts on the bolts. John arrives at the church, sees some rubble on the floor and looks up to the chandelier.

The day of Bo and Billie's wedding, Marlena is woken by John. She finds in her hands two bolt nuts. Alice must let go of wishing that Gina is Hope. Everyone is getting ready for the wedding. Father Francis is still in hospital unable to speak. Peculiar things are happing to him. The shadow with the red eyes appears in his room. Lexie rushes into his room when she heard glass breaking. Father Francis's eyes have turned green and he attacks Lexie. The wedding starts with Marlena standing at the back "devil" eyes. She looks up to the chandelier as they sway. Maggie takes Abby for a walk on the pier, where they run into Jack. He introduces himself to her for the first time, telling her he's her daddy. She yells, "Daddy," and breaks Jack's heart when he realizes she's calling out to Peter.

Today is the day that Billie and Bo have been waiting for. Their wedding begins with Jennifer, Carrie, Gina, and Kristen (the bridesmaids) headed up the aisle, followed by Austin, who is giving Billie away.
All of a sudden, the chandelier (courtesy of Possessed Marlena) drops, narrowly missing Billie. Bo is willing to postpone the ceremony if she is too upset to go on, but Billie still wants to get married.
Just as the wedding is continuing to go ahead as scheduled, Alice Horton speaks up...and says the wedding cannot go on!
At the hospital, Jonah rescues Lexie from Father Francis' attack.

Everyone at the Church is shocked when Alice announces that she cannot let Bo and Billie get married. When questioned by Father Jansen, she states that she knows in her heart that Gina is really Hope, and that Bo cannot marry Billie while his first wife is still alive.
Jack and Jennifer run into each other outside the Church, and he swears he's come back for her. On his knees, he begs her for another chance.

Billie wake up from a bad dream but Bo is there to comfort her. Jack brings Jennifer a large bouquet of yellow roses. Marlena finds a bolt nut on her floor as John finds another in the church. Marlena goes tot he church with John, but is very uneasy with being there. Peter and Jennifer organise a party for Bo and Billie. Jack tries to convince Jennifer that he has changed. Marlena tells Caroline of her uneasiness. Caroline suggests she light a candle which Marlena does but it blows out. Marlena goes to the hospital and enters Father Francis's room. He tells her he know who she is. Marlena says he doesn't even know her. He say "not you, him, the devil". The devil reveals himself to Father Francis (Marlena's eyes are green and her voice distorted). Devil laughs as he tells Father Francis that he won't be telling anyone who he is. Bo and Billie ask Mickey to speak to the Bishop, but he agrees with Father Jansen's decision. Kristen finds Gina in the church. Gina tells her she love Bo and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Kristen is upset because it was all her father's doing. John enters Father Francis's room as Marlena pulls the pillow away. She comes out of it and Father Francis falls into a coma. She has a plausible excuse why she is in his room. Later Marlena wonders as to why she was in Father Francis's room. Tony arrives at the Deveraux house to talk to Peter, but ends up visiting with Abby instead. Jack gets himself invited to Bo and Billie's party by Peter, who doesn't even know who he is. As everyone gathers at Jennifer's place. Peter goes to introduce Jack as his friend "JD". Jennifer is furious that Jack dared come to her house. Jack asks Mickey to represent him. Bo says to Billie that if they go off to Las Vegas, she will regret it eventually. Gina leaves the party disheartened at all the pain she's caused Bo and Billie. She mopes around the apartment and tries on Billie's wedding veil. Billie walks in and asks her what she thinks she's doing. Gina apologises, but Billie tells Gina she's had enough and wishes Gina had never showed up. Later she apologises for blowing up at Gina. Gina asks if she can do anything for them. Billie asks Gina not to stop the petition for Hope's death certificate.

Just as Carrie and Austin start a romantic evening, Sami calls because she scared and thinks someone is following her and it could be Alan, but as usual it's one of her plans. Austin to the rescue. Alan is up to something and buys a gun. Lex, Abe, Jonah and Wendy enjoy a family dinner. Carrie starts to put two and two together when it seems that whenever her and Austin have a special night planned, Sami always cries "Help". She speaks to Jamie and tells her about Sami's latest call and that Alan maybe following her. Jamie says it couldn't be because she just saw Alan outside the Brady Pub. Later Austin returns Sami to the pub. When he goes back to Carrie, she tells him of her suspicions. He thinks it's a stupid idea.

Kristen is praying at St Lukes. Possessed Marlena grabs her from behind and chloroforms her. Sami calls Austin again but Carrie answers the phone. Carrie doesn't believe Sami's cry for help. Tony finally sees them together and they realise he can see. Kristen gets car assistance from an unexpected source - Gabriel. When she later phones the Auto company, they have no record of a repair truck being sent out. Carrie rushes over to confront Sami with the facts that Alan gave her. She gets angry and slaps Sami as Austin walks in. When Tony later confronts Kristen at home, she is astonished that Tony can see. He asks her what she has to say for herself. Sami tells Jamie how Carrie slapped her in front of Austin and how he refused to believe Carrie's accusations. Jamie & Lucas both tell Sami to give up her plan and to stop hurting Carrie but she won't listen.
Austin seeks Kate's advice on his relationship with Carrie. Vivian watches her wedding video and it is almost seen by Kate. Olga almost tells Kate about the wedding but some quick explaining by Viv and Ivan ( who is home after his appendix removal) make sure Kate does not find out.

Tony tells Stefano and Celeste that Kristen knows he can see. He tells them about Kristen and John. Jack and Jennifer argue over custody for Abby. Peter takes Abby to lunch at the Brady Pub, where they run into Kristen and talk about Tony and Stefano. Peter and Abby then walk on the pier, where Peter meets up with Celeste, who tells him he belongs in a meeting with Stefano immediately. Peter hands Abby over to Laura to babysit. Laura takes Abby to the studio to meet up with Jenn, but she's already left. A panicked Jennifer calls the studio, afraid Laura and Abby will run into Jack there. She demands that they come home immediately.
John asks Laura to visit Marlena. Marlena tells her about nightmare of Kristen. Stefano visits a sleeping Marlena. As Stefano caresses her, she wakes possessed and starts to strangle him.

Court proceedings commence to certify that Hope is legally dead. Bo recalls how Hope died. Marlena continues to strangle Stefano with Celeste on the other side of the closet, trying to get in the room. The Devil is stopping her. Celeste finally falls into the room and try's to get Stefano away from Marlena but Marlena is too strong. Celeste yells out "Dear God please help me" which make Marlena let go of Stefano. Gina is not at the court to testify. Alice gets on the stand and tells how she believes Gina is Hope. Alice later goes to find Gina at Hope's grave. Stefano and Celeste leave as they hear someone at the door. John and Kristen find Marlena totally out and calls an ambulance. She later wakes in the hospital. Gina finally shows up at the courtroom and testifies that she's not Hope. The court declares Hope dead. As Kristen visit's Father Francis, the devil is in the room.

Sami has on sexy lingerie to entice Austin. Mike does tests on Marlena as she has anaemia. Kristen rushes out of the room and tells John the lights went out, the room turned icy cold. In addition, there was a foul smell. It was as though there was an evil presence in the room. Later Marlena needs a blood transfusion. Stefano make his way into her room and writes on her chart "eyes sometime appear yellow". Carrie rushes to tell Sami and Austin about Marlena. Sami thinks Marlena is faking it. The transfusion doesn't work and Marlena's red blood cell count is very low. Sami goes in to see her mother, thinking this will earn her more points with Austin. As the nurse leaves, Marlena says "hypocrite". Sami rushes out of the room.

Austin feels very awkward as Sami parades around in her lingerie. Lucas loosens Alan's tongue with booze and records his confession of raping Sami. She head for the Cheatin' Heart where some men try to hit on her. After hearing Alan's confession on tape, Austin knows this will clear Sami's name, but he and Carrie continue to argue of Sami and her trying to break them up. They finally decide to end it.

Lucas rescues Sami from the Cheatin' Heart and takes her back to Titian. He tells her about the tape and she's touched that he cares about her. They kiss and then make love. Carrie leaves a note on her door for Billie and Gina, saying that she'll be at Titian, but gets a call from John to go to the hospital as Marlena has had a bad turn. Austin decides he needs to talk to Carrie and sees her note, so he heads off to Titian. He finds Sami and Lucas together and thinks its Carrie making love to Lucas. He is devastated. Lucas rushes out and Sami realises that Austin thinks she was Carrie. Marlena comes too and is feeling much better. Mike is amazed at her recovery. Vivian goes into labour.

Due to a snowstorm, Jennifer hires a car to leave Chicago, not knowing that Jack has stowed away in the back.

She pours gasoline over the entrance and sets it alight. Tony and Kristen pledge their love to each other in front of a distraught John. Everyone realises the church is on fire. Stefano and Celeste rush to the church. As Celeste goes to call the Fire Brigade, Stefano smells gas and wonders who could have set fire to the church. He sees Marlena hidden in the bushes. Bo and Peter help John, Tony and Kristen escape the fire.

He misunderstands her being there, thinking that she's there to help him. She doesn't reply. As John turns his back, she attacks him. Ave and Mike arrive in time to save John. Mike injects a sedative into Marlena. John, Mike and Laura bring a sleeping Marlena back to her penthouse. Abe searches her bedroom and finds the black gloves and chloroform. They realise that Marlena is the desecrator. As Abe and John speak outside the room, Stefano takes Marlena from the bed.

Sami puts a tablet in Austin's drink. Abe has a warrant to arrest Marlena. Stefano steals Marlena from her room. He then sets a plan in place to save her. He has cloned five Marlena's to go in different directions. John meets up with Gabe again. A s they talk, a boy John knows is hit by a care and dies in John's arms. Gabe tells John that he can't help the boy, Kevin, he is in another place. John is angry so Gabe preforms a miracle and Kevin comes back to life. John believes and Gave tells him to hurry to Marlena's as she is in danger. He finds her gone and a note (written by Stefano) saying she has left Salem. Sami finally gets Austin into bed and thinking it's Carrie, he makes love to her. Celeste is left with Marlena at Stefano's apart ment. As Celeste tries to leave, she is thrown to the ground and sees Marlena in devil mode.

Abe picks up the gun and puts it on the counter. As John, Abe and the DA discuss Marlena, she gets the gun. She orders Abe and the DA out and tells John to stay. The devil tells Marlena to shoot him but Marlena's voice argues with him. Jack asks Laura's advice on getting back with his wife. Laura is upset thinking that "Clark" had feeling for her. Jack has plans to move into Jennifer's place. Marlena finally lets the gun go and shoots to the right of John.

Tony tells Peter that Stefano will soon be arrested. John and Bo find Celeste alone in the hotel room and arrest her. Gina sees Stefano at Salem Place and rushes to find him. Some stationery that Vivian had ordered after she married Victor (it says "Mrs. Vivian Kiriakis) is delivered to Kate by mistake. Ivan intercepts it in time, but Vivian drops a sheet on the stairs. Kate sees it. Gina tries to interrogate Celeste. Kate and Victor feels sorry for her. Peter comes to defend Celeste. Jennifer and Kristen turn up at the station and Jennifer is surprised to see Peter defending Celeste, she is amazed. John has placed a homing device in Celeste bag. Kate finally hears what Vivian is up to, but needs more proof. Marlena recites the rosary to ward off the devil. Stefano and Celeste decide on a plan to get Marlena from the hospital. Carrie wakes after having a dream about her and Austin. She and Austin decide on where to look for Sami. Tyrone watches Carrie from afar. Stefano gets into the hospital in a disguise. Kate convinces Ivan to have a drink with her, while Vivian is out shopping. She spiked his drink and finds the key to Vivian's desk. Kate finds the marriage certificate in the desk. Celeste keeps John and Bo occupied at Salem Place while Stefano is down the hall from Marlena.

Gina is in police uniform and ready to go to Police Academy. Vivian expects a drugged Kate to be returned home. When she realises Kate has left for Bermuda, Vivian finds a way to get to Victor before Kate. The pilot is starting to feel the effects of the drugged coffee. There's a storm brewing. Kate calls "may day" as the pilot fall asleep. Tyrone finally gets Carrie alone and locks her up. The plane crashes.

Vivian and Ivan are distraught that they may have killed Kate. They hire a plane and pilot to take them out to search for Kate. Kate and her pilot are hanging onto pieces of plane in the stormy river. Carrie calls for someone to help her. One of Tyrone's girls, Emily, comes to give her food and Carrie begs her to help her by telling Austin where she is. Emily meets Austin, but after seeing Tyrone at the coffee shop, doesn't tell him where Carrie is. Austin starting to worry about Carrie. Billie and Lucas talk about Kate and how much she wants them to be a family. Billie get the call from Henderson telling her the plane has gone down. Kate sees the plane overhead and yells for help, but they don't see her. She is determined to stay alive and swims away from the pilot. As the show closes, Kate screams.

Peter tells Stefano that he has hired a lawyer for him, and warns him not to threaten him again. Jack continues to try to get Jennifer to see the truth about Peter, but she won't listen to him.
