As the Rovers re-opens, Jenny urges Daisy to seek out Daniel to patch things up. Meanwhile, Daniel runs into Bethany…Adam and Sarah celebrate New Year's Eve together in the Bistro and it's clear there's still a spark between them.

As Sarah supports Adam with his anxiety, Damon Hay watches on. Later, Adam's set upon and left tied up in a van. Jenny interrupts the Platts' dinner to reveal that Bethany spent the night in Daniel's bed, leaving Gail, David and Sarah stunned.

Cassie lands Abi in trouble with Kevin over the scratched Porsche, and Evelyn and Roy hear that Terry has been charged. After asking Leanne and Nick for his cash, Damon tries to prove himself to Sarah. He's then summoned to the prison by Harvey.

After a fun afternoon drinking with Gemma and David, Paul's illness catches up with him... Ed strikes a deal with Damon. Roy tells Cassie to save Abi and come clean about the car's damage. Evelyn learns from Tyrone that Terry has pleaded guilty.

Evelyn tails Terry, hoping to prove he's running a puppy farm, but the thug spots her... Asha and Aadi plan a birthday bash. Paul is intent on making plans to end his life. When Todd refuses to help, Paul turns to Abi, hoping she'll supply some drugs...

Asha accuses Nina of landing Isla in trouble. Later, after Aadi hears Nina offload, they kiss... Damon stuffs up with Sarah. Cassie discovers Terry's puppy farm, but as she's trying to flee with his dirty cash and his dogs, he returns...

Filled with rage over Sarah and Damon's romance, Adam decides to visit Harvey in jail. Will he make a deal with the devil? Cassie's hurt when Tyrone tells Evelyn he wouldn't dare leave the girls with her for a fortnight. Aadi realises Asha let him down.

Gemma discovers a business card for a family solicitor and accuses Chesney of plotting to take the children from her. Harvey warns Adam that if he lets him down with his murder appeal, he'll put out a hit on him. Liam's caught bunking off.

Having been rushed to hospital, doctors verify Joseph has Lyme disease. Social services confirm Gemma can move back home. Liam panics when Mason pins him against a wall. Adam meets Harvey's sidekick and tells him to scare off Damon...

Liam prepares to front up to Mason, the school bully who's targeting him. But it's Liam who ends up in big trouble. Bernie cleans Paul's flat, leaving him worried she's going to find his pills. Gemma urges Ches to make up with Joseph.

At the police station, Maria urges son Liam to tell the truth about what happened. Bailiffs turn up at the Baileys' house. A road trip goes haywire as Bernie takes Gemma and Paul off in a motorhome. Billy finds Paul's drugs missing...

Ed crumbles as Gary pulls out of the deal. Later, Michael sees smoke billowing out of the yard and is trapped in the flames... Bernie makes assumptions about Moses. Steve is stunned to hear Tracy's hired his hero, Tommy Orpington, to decorate!

Michael asks Ed if he started the fire. At the police station, Ed makes an admission. Later, he is taken aback by his son's hatred. As Steve heads off to France to visit his daughter Emma, Tommy Orpington starts work for Tracy. Simon flounders.

Tracy puts Toyah off Tommy, branding him a womaniser! When Tommy admits he fancies Tracy, she's powerless to resist... Bethany keeps her financial problems a secret from Sarah. Craig tells Michael the builders' yard fire was caused by a heater.

On Sarah's birthday, Adam seethes as he clocks Damon moving his things into the flat. But is his luck about to change? With Steve due back, Tracy leaps at a last chance of a steamy session with Tommy. But will Steve catch them at it?

Harvey provides Adam with a fall guy for his murder conviction. Bethany targets Lauren in her quest for a scoop, and Toyah spies an angry exchange between Joel and a mystery woman.

Simon drives Sam to a chess contest but he loses control and crashes. Leanne reels as Simon admits he was over the limit. Daniel answers a call on Bethany's mobile and is stunned to find out his girlfriend has sent an article about him, Daisy and Ryan to Chit Chat magazine.

As Sam is rushed to hospital, Leanne is forced to tell Nick that Simon put his lad at risk by driving while over the limit. Bethany tries to make peace with Daisy, but a row breaks out. Bobby learns a chilling truth about his killer dad Rob.

Billy tries to give Paul a brilliant Valentine's Day, but a situation triggers the stressed-out vicar who lashes out. Liam returns to school where he's lynched by bully Mason as Dylan films his distress. Leanne finds Simon has slept rough.

When Liam refuses to go to school, Maria takes action and gains access to his social media... Meanwhile, Liam plans suicide. Tommy rejects Tracy. Leanne learns Nick was going to propose and pops the question. Bobby takes his chance with Lauren.

Maria's world falls apart as the school looks at Liam's search history and find he's planning suicide. Can she save her son? Lauren agrees to a date with Bobby, but Max and Sabrina uncover her side hustle. David urges Nick to be honest.

Maria gets an appointment for Liam with Dr Gaddas, who tells her there's a long waiting list for the mental-health unit. Dee-Dee asks questions of Joel when she spots a receipt from a jeweller's. Sean demands Dylan hands over his phone.

When Steve goes on an airport run, Tracy and Tommy make the most of an empty house, but someone soon gets an eyeful... Dee-Dee confronts Joel, who admits he has a kid and a wife who threw him out. Lauren tells Roy she's leaving.

Tim tells Tracy he knows about her affair and has to tell Steve - but before he gets the chance, Steve asks Tracy to renew their vows... Dee-Dee is stunned when Joel's ex calls at the flat to tell her they're separated and urges her not to give up on a good man.

Leanne and Nick reel to hear Harvey is planning an appeal and tell Damon, who reckons his brother must be paying someone. Daisy tells Glenda she feels there's still a spark with Daniel and wants him back. But at Rita's birthday, a bombshell drops...

Daisy goes ballistic at Bethany, who's given the sack from Chit Chat. After a nasty row, Daisy receives a visitor... Ryan! Nick asks Dee-Dee to look into Harvey's appeal. Will Adam reveal he's on the job? Evelyn prepares for Fiz and Ty's return.

Worried Bobby makes an appeal in The Gazette to help find Lauren but Roy is convinced she has started afresh elsewhere. Obeying Mason's orders to bring him the knife used in the assault, Dylan gets arrested and realises that Mason set him up.

With her confidence low, Fiz starts feeling sidelined at work and worries that the kids no longer need her. Returning the £10K to Stu, Dom wants to keep the visit a secret from Eliza in case it upsets her all over again.

As Gary and Maria discuss Liam's homeschooling, the police inform them that Mason has been charged and may go to jail. * When Sean spots blood on the curtains in Lauren's old flat, Carla and Bobby tell the police and DS Swain questions Roy.

Eliza tracks down her dad Dom and, to Stu and Yasmeen's horror, announces she wants to move to Germany with him. Tricked into having lunch at the Bistro with Tracy and Tommy, Amy fumes and orders the most expensive champagne on sale!

Roy's movements work against him as he heads to the bat site with a shovel and bags. Later, at a vigil for Lauren, Roy's attacked. In court, Dylan pleads guilty to carrying a knife. Returning home, Dylan's stunned to see his mum Violet, who's fuming...

Having been given a place to stay for the night, 'Kerry' posts from Roy's flat and takes secret notes. The phoney is caught out but it's innocent Roy who's in the firing line... Later, Dee-Dee reports that Roy has been charged with Lauren's murder. Maria checks her secret webcam and finds Gary with Sarah, who's in bits about Damon.

As Roy's brought into court for his plea hearing and is refused bail, Bobby takes stock of the situation and takes action. Alya covers for Adam when he indulges in a steamy lunch with a new client. Gary tries to delete the footage of him with Sarah.

Bobby's new 'memory' about Lauren's disappearance gathers momentum and before long, Daniel's hauled in to see Swain. Sean and Dylan move into their new flat. Alya accepts a job with solicitor Rich and soon poaches Adam's best client.

Having been wrongly accused of reporting Daniel, Max tails his neighbour and catches him on camera as he meets old flame Nicky. Joel learns that Dee-Dee's getting death threats. Sam hopes the techniques that Leanne has learnt may help him free Roy.

When Toyah sees three sleuths digging up a rose bed, looking for Lauren's body, she sees red and smashes their car window. At the solicitors' office, Joel thanks Dee-Dee for coming with him to meet his daughter, then moves in for a kiss...

Toyah tells Nick that, after she was raped at 18, she had a stillborn daughter at 19 who she buried where the sleuths were digging. It's Nina's birthday, but Asha goes on a dangerous mission to rescue Freddie, who's been dognapped and held to ransom.

Heading off to Thailand, Eileen tells George that Archie's will left Glenda half the business. Will he tell his sister the news? Roy calls Carla and asks her to visit him in prison as he wants to speak to her about Bobby's statement. Is he on to the lie?

All's quiet, so Bobby reckons Roy must have kept shtum about his false statement. Meanwhile, a prison officer finds Roy collapsed... Steve hopes his fortunes have changed when he gets three matches on a new dating site and one agrees to meet him for lunch!

Paul and Gemma are horrified when their estranged dad Denny turns up, having heard Paul talk about his MND on the radio. Mary visits a desperate Roy in hospital and tries to help him remember a conversation he heard Lauren have with Max.

When Paul invites Denny to watch a film, Billy reluctantly leaves them to it. But when Paul's left alone, there are consequences... Having remembered Lauren's necklace, Roy hopes Lauren's mystery boyfriend can be found. Adam admits his feelings to Alya.
